50 yards and in (pitch shots, chips, putts) it gets taken off.

I wear a glove all the time. I like the feel for some reason. I'm trying to not wear a glove while I'm putting so it can dry out( in addition to me taking it off and trying to dry it from hole to tee box) and not get too soaked from sweating in it while playing in 100-110* heat. I may buy a second glove just for that reason.

I take mine off after every shot. Its become a habit from playing golf in the summer.

I carry two gloves in my bag since my hands tend to sweat alot and it soaks through, and I change up the glove after nine holes.
in the bag:
R580XD 10.5°
Rescue Dual 19°
Titleist 755 4-PW
Vokey Black Nickel 54.10° Vokey Oil Can 60.08° Circa 62 No. 2 Charcoal Mist

I wear a glove, but only because I have a circle around the 2nd knuckle so that I make sure to maintain a strong grip. I have played both ways and dont mind either, just fun to accumulate more golf gear.

Gotta have a glove. Otherwise my left hand gets all torn up.

no glove for me, and I'm surprised by the amount of others who don't like the "Michael Jackson" glove look either.

to tell you the truth I can't remember the last time I saw anyone without a glove on other then myself while playing.

I've actually been asked alot by people I've been paired up with about not wearing 1, and them not understanding it.

tour players over the years who don't:

Couples
Janzen
Cochran
Glover

anyone else think of any?

I probably answered this before, but I also don't wear gloves when golfing. I should find some gloves for when it's really, really raining, but I've always put that off.

I've only played a couple of rounds without one. I don't know how people can bare the pain on there hands without ones (maybe it's because I play everyday? idk)

I'm in the same bag as you. I rely too much on my left hand for my grip, and it would tear up my hand if I didn't wear a glove. I learned this the hard way earlier this year, when I played nine holes without a glove after leaving it on top of the TV at home. I couldn't touch a club for the next three days.

My left hand is a lot less tan than my right hand. It's obvious from a mile off. And, I go through gloves pretty quickly - about once a month before I wear a hole in it.

I wear a black glove so the wear doesn't show so much. I also take it off after every shot... habit caused by the heat here in Oklahoma, I sweat too much. I noticed one other person mentioned doing that too. Neato.

    • From what I heard over the weekend, Shedeur pulled a "Bo Callahan" with the Giants. Per Todd McShay: “Shedeur didn’t have a great interview with Brian Daboll in a private visit. An install package came in, preparation wasn’t there for it, he got called out on it, he didn’t like that. Brian didn’t appreciate him not liking it." You can have all the talent in the world (which I am not sure he has, as CU tailored the offense to his strength in a weak division ), but you have to act like a top round draft pick and not like an unproven legend! If you get drafter at 3 as a QB in the draft you are expected to lead that team, and preparation is part of that.  Playing ball in NY (any sport) requires you to deal with criticism, and deal with it as a professional.
    • I agree that in a pure stroke-play situation the use of E-5 limits the possible scores by limiting the potential to hit multiple shots OB.  But in a Stableford or "quota" game, a player is likely to be in "blob" territory anyway, so its a minimal difference.   I understand that E-5 is viewed differently in different parts of the world, I don't know what the Australian attitude would be, but I don't see a problem with using it.
    • Probably hurt him a small bit. I am pretty sure Ward didn’t throw. He probably over evaluated his skill. Which may be his entitled attitude. I agree with the pick at that point. I think he’s closer to an end of the day 2 pick than a day 1 prospect. There has been plenty of QB’s who had similar numbers that don’t thrive in the NFL. It’s easy to get a high comp% in college and put up big numbers. 1) Colorado had to score a lot to win, so they aired it out. 2) The level of competition is low.  Against FBS teams with a winning % he was 70% with 7.5 y/a. Lots of short easy stuff.  Versus Will Howard who had 75% with 9.5 y/a. That 2 y/a is huge.  Cam Ward, 67% at 10 y/a. Look at Joe Burrow, 75% at 10.2 y/a. He was unable to read defenses well enough against FBS teams with winning % to push the ball down field.  I get his o-line was bad, but Miami had an average O-line, not elite and there is a noticeable difference between the two QB’s. They should never been talked as 1A/1B.
    • That's what I'd suggest you do ,post hole-by-hole, post an "x" for the holes not played,  unless directed otherwise by a Handicap Committee with approval from your state golf association.  "Par plus.." is no longer used, unless specific instructions are given.  Note that Clarification 3.2b/2 says it should be used "only when approved by the Authorized Association".
    • I have no idea if he's any good or not. I've only ever seen him play one game. I will say he probably got bad advice going into the draft. He should have done all the "Combine Stuff" at the combine. Refusing to throw at that combine hurt.  I disagree about what his game film shows. I'm no expert, but I tried to watch as much as I could this weekend. I think it's really hard to find any game film on him that's worth a pile of beans. He's either playing really inferior competition in which case the game film is worthless. Or he's immediately running for his life the moment the ball is snapped. In which case the game film is worthless. He should have gone through the combine stuff. That was a huge mistake.  I do think it's a great pick for the Browns in the 5th round. Why not take him at that point? I think he has a chance to develop into something. Completing 75% of his passes, for 4100 yards, 37 TD's with only 10 picks behind that terrible offensive line is pretty good numbers. He may stink out loud at the next level, but being picked in the 5th round means he isn't a bust. He's just a 5th round pick that didn't work out.  If he stinks. Who cares? .... The Browns have had plenty of bad quarterbacks over the last 25 years.
