iPhone X using Super Depth (why not AR?) to recommend glasses.

I'm sure the next step is to put the glasses on you.

BTW I thought for a bit that the guy had eye shadow on. It's just more condensed dots in the image.

I love my iPhone X. It didn't take anywhere near as long as a few days to get used to the new gesture for home. It's faster, really, for a lot of things, and no slower when it's at its worst than TouchID, which was always a separate step… the phone is always looking at me when I'm looking at it, though.

The only thing I don't like is how quitting apps* is made a bit more difficult. It used to be double-tap home, swipe the app away. Now I have to swipe up and hold to get the multitasking thing, then hold and swipe up again.

* I don't quit my commonly used apps. I'm talking about apps I only use once or twice a day, if that, to remove clutter. Common always-running apps are Messages, Safari, Camera, Photos, Podcasts, Notes, and one or two others (sometimes Slack if it's a busy time).

I must say, so far, except for the annoyance involved in force quitting apps (the apps I don't use frequently, or want to leave cluttering up the multitasker), I'm liking just about everything about the iPhone X so far. It even Face IDs me when I'm laying in a pillow with a blanket over my head.

:-D

Agreed with both the force quitting apps annoyance (I know you don't need to do it for battery purposes, but it's not great for quickly accessing apps if it's cluttered with things like Settings or the App Store or other things I only use a few times per day) and liking basically everything else. I could pick a few nits, but it would be just that - nit picking.
