In case anyone wants to discuss it.  I'm ambivalent about it unless it gets interesting.

Been a fan of Langer all along, so for me it's pretty much playing the odds here.  Clearly the season long best player regardless of how this turns out.

But the manufactured points thing (like the Fedex Cup) allows for two other things than that for him or someone else:  Winner of the Tournament, Winner of the Cup

Doesn't Bernhard pretty much have this locked up?

Or do they reset the points?

I was wondering the same. The broadcast last week made it sound like he had clinched already. Either way, it is good fun to watch him excel into his 60s.

You guys had me wondering so I had to look it up.  but they do a reset like the Fedex Cup

In the event another wins, I believe the award for winning this is as follows:  Berhard walks up to the stage on a path composed of all the other players lying in the mud.  He then allows the final points winner a 5 second touch of the cup before he takes it back.  But I'm just assuming....

    • Day 9, May 13.  After work, I went to my practice room for a dozen balls (two sessions of a half dozen each).  I may do more later, but I wanted to make sure I posted here too.  Same priority as yesterday, with the arms lifting.
    • Day 263 6-13 Setup alignment stick station for hands off body drill. Worked on wrist arch as well. Working on not hitting the stick 😀
    • Day 64 (13 May 26) - last practice of golf team for the school golf team….got to hit a few balls while working with the kids.
    • Hi @RetiredOldMan!  I am glad to see you are still playing and having good scores.  I hope that when I am 79, I am not only able to play, but still able to produce as good scores as you have been doing.   I look forward to hearing more of your success and your opinion of the senior flex shafts.
    • Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)
