3/31/18: Day 365: The post you've all been waiting for.  I did some more work with my A4 to A5 drills. I know it seems like it's monotonous and stupid... But yesterday after I posted I

Day 22 December 25.  It is cold outside and Christmas.... so the best I could do was spend sometime with my putter, in my home office, putting down a three foot ruler and the Howard Swash Putting Rail... both with the goal of developing more skill in starting the putt on line.

Day 379

Played 18 today. For the first time in a long time I didn't take a scorecard out and just let my shot tracking watch keep score for me. The focus for today's round was having a good tempo or rhythm (I get them mixed up), and working on making a full backswing. For me, the full backswing trigger is getting my left shoulder all the way to my chin before transitioning.

Mirror work while waiting for some more code to compile and some other updates to be run. Likely to move on to some top of the backswing work here soon.

Day 24  December 27   Spent a little over 3 hours between time on the practice range and the putting green.  On the putting green worked through the STAR Drill at 3 and 4 feet.  Then to the range for more than 2 hours.  I worked on two things and only two things.  First, improving the top of my backswing by using the Swingwyde, to insure I had enough wrist cock at the top of my swing and I was rotating versus swaying.  Second I worked on shallowing the club on the downswing.  Then finished the session with 10 drivers ....  working solely on swing speed.

Day 364 - December 28, 2020

Fifteen minutes downtown hitting balls (hit them well), and beat one of my students 5&3 in a putting match. Made a pretty good number of long putts. 🙂

DAY 25   December 28.  The club I am a member of is closed on Mondays.  So I used my short club, and worked on my backswing... continuing to focus on a steady head and rotating around my thoracic spine with a nice titled shoulder turn.  I will get there eventually.  Working without a ball helps a lot in ingraining the feel.

Day 380

Slept funny on my neck so difficult to do anything at full speed. Did some mirror takeaway/backswing practice, and then a little bit of short game practice hitting into my net.
