That's funny because my head tends to go the opposite direction. I have to think of "not looking" at the back of the ball. 🤷‍♂️

Golf swing is so weird that way. I can take the feel too far and end up hanging way back, but I tend to heavily influence my path with my head/eyes or something along those lines and get my head out in front of everything, which ends up in like 5-10 degrees left swing and frequent shanks. My teacher is always holding a pool noodle at my lead ear too keep my head from lurching forward. It’s interesting to see immediate change in path direction with just focusing on where my head is and my eyes are pointing.

Day 20:

Did some indoor putting, more steady head work, and some half swing flat wrist drills. Then a few full swings with driver and almost golf balls.

Day 13: 7 Apr

played 18 holes…and played to my handicap. Despite playing what felt like questionable golf on times. But stuck at it, kept trying to play good golf and gave myself opportunities (putting was off today). I need to develop a repeatable preshot routine so that I’m always putting myself in the right place to play the golf shout that I should be visualising (which also needs to become a clear consistent thing).

Day 41 (7 Apr 23) - Played 18 with son and grandson at Minnesott today.  Not a great round in terms of score, but was able to play the old blades and wood woods….those old MacGregor Souchak irons and Spalding woods are definitely different beasts…

Day 15: Stack training tonight and hit 107 for the second straight session. First swing at max intent was a little slower than the other three. Perhaps I can increase my speed in my next session?

Day 16: Hit into the net today. The movement of my hips and arms felt better, at least seems to be moving the way I’d like them to be. Def getting the arm off my chest has helped contact.

Day 17: I can’t say I practiced today, but I did hit golf balls here and home and tossed a video on the member swings. It was a good check up to see if I had the right intents. Although not perfect on the right track. Just some refinements on what I was trying to accomplish.

Day 16: 4/8/23 Putting practice through gates. Neglected to enter last night.

Day 17: Stack training session 10. Hit 109 mph eSpeed, my new high! Felt great after Easter services and a nice meal.  Little breezy outside with the wind in my face, which didn’t hurt me. 2 mph average faster with the 195g weight and had a slow first swing. Hit a new record on Wednesday and matched that on Friday. Good week for training and eager to get on the course!
