Day 27:  Early morning at the range to beat the heat.  Bucket with my irons and a bucket with my driver.

I may not hit the ball far, but at least I find all of the pretty flowers.

Day 86:

Played 18 this morning at my home course. Approach play was poor, short game was decent and kept score from getting out of hand.

Day 612, July 7, 2024

Went downtown for about four hours this morning. Settled in with some 9I, hit a lot of 6I, hit some more 9I near the end, and finished up with a few drivers (before a palate cleansing 6I). I'll post over in my Member Swing topic with a few pictures from GSPro, but… overall, pretty good. Not quite where I'd like it, but essentially, I have to re-acquaint myself with the idea that the face needs to feel 45° open at impact.

Erik J. Barzeski —  I knock a ball. It goes in a gopher hole. 🏌🏼‍♂️

Day 181 - Warmed up with some pitching, main focus was impact positions. Some good partial swings have me feeling like I’m progressing well, just need that to transfer to the full swing.

Day 67 (8 Jul 24) - Pitching work in the backyard with the PW - ball position/ball flight correlation work - ball back (near trail foot - lower flight); ball center (mid stance - normal flight); ball forward (near lead foot - more lofted flight)…worked to stay away from “trying to help it in the air” syndrome…

Day 182 - More of the same; warmed up with some pitching before working on my priority piece. Slow, partial swings at first, then working up to full swings where I still feel like I’m getting the right impact position.

    • Day 194 - Played Caledonia this morning, a really nice course. I played well, although putting cost me a handful of strokes.
    • Completed my second full swing spectrum, and pretty pleased with the results: I decided to do a 12 session cruiser schedule next. Cruiser is one of the creative programs. The AI recommendation was to do full speed spectrum again, but I wanted to try out a creative program. Cruiser is meant for in-season or busier times, according to the description. I wanted to just maintain for about 4-6 weeks, so I think it's a good fit. I enjoyed the first work out tonight. I am curious to see how it goes and what my next progress check looks like.
    • I should clarify regarding my scramble comments it's absolutely not the case when scrambling in an outing or event, my comment was moreso when it's just my usual foursome and we decide to scramble instead of playing our own balls for whatever reason. (Typically if we're on a trip or something and we play 36 in a day we usually scramble one of the 18s) We are normally pretty quick to begin with though, if we don't get stuck behind anyone we regularly play in 3:30 when playing our own balls even with 1-2 guys shooting 90-100+
    • Day 4: did a stack session.
    • I think that Chicopee is the Top-Flite and now Callaway plant. Titleist is in Dartmouth and New Bedford.
