Day 616 - 2026-06-10

Played nine holes. Mostly solid. A few weird shots, but trending.

Day 76: worked on putting for a solid 25 minutes. Focused on putts between 6 and 12 feet. Also worked a bit on bead. Feeling more comfortable with everything. Just need to remember handle up.

Day 282 6-11

Worked on gettng low point forward without ball. Also did some flow drills with ball

Got some work in after lessons. And a little chipping work during some lessons.

Day 11 (11 Jun. 26) - more work with 7i and 8i - using a version of the towel/gate drill to help get strike more consistent (less pulls and pushes)….solid session.

Day 38, June 11.  This afternoon, after work, I spent about 15 minutes in the practice room, split about half and half between 9-iron and 6-iron.  Usual drill, but I'm really focused on setting up right to make sure my arms hang properly.

Day 39, June 12.  Before leaving the house this morning, I spent time practicing.  A half dozen shots with a 9-iron, half dozen with the 6-iron, and a quarter dozen with the 4-hybrid.  All full shots, same focus on backswing and proper setup, especially the arms.

Day 12 (12 Jun 26) - super busy day, so took grandson up on some putting drills…started with lag rolls down the long hardwood hallway (talk about working on speed control), moved to squaring the face at contact using 2 and 3 balls aligned - rolling on carpet.  Goal is simple: have the balls to come off the face and roll as equidistant as possible - if one went racing ahead easy to spot the heel or toe leading the way….really helps on staying super focused especially with three balls.

Day 283 6-12

low point control no ball. Faster swings.

Day 618 - 2026-06-12

Got some mirror work in before watching a student defeat his opponent in the third round of the city match play.

Day 77: did about 10 minutes of mirror work while taking a break from work. Also went to the range for about 30 minutes, just working on aiming and where the ball is going for some golf I’m playing over the weekend.
