Day 26- Backswing practice ensuring I keep my left arm straight by pushing my right arm away from my body.  This has helped with accuracy on the course.  Finished with putting start line practice on a ruler and through a small putting gate.

Day 210.  I am trying to consciously plan more than just five minutes a day, really!  Tonight was 15 minutes of full swing (6-iron, indoors, off a mat, into the net, real balls).  2:1 of tilt to arms, and my sore legs from yesterday sort of forced me to go slow, which is great.  I really did get to focus on looking in the mirrors at the right spots to check the right things.

Day 73 (10/5/22): Did about an hour of iron swings, starting with wedge up to 2I, and then even a few 3W shots. I was rehearsing the impact position and then going with a regular swing, ranging from about a 1/2 swing up to almost a full effort swing (meaning no impact pre-set shots). I hit it quite well, although they weren't flying all that far. Side errors were small.

Day 27- practiced chipping and pitching.  Prefer to use one club and did well from a variety of lies. Will have plenty of opportunities when I play Saturday.

Day 74 (10/6/22): Tonight was a very short practice, but it was productive, relatively speaking. Just short 3-9 swings, rehearsing impact position first, and then concentrating on feeling that position during the actual swing. And while not golf specific, I have resumed some core, leg, and back strength exercises I was doing regularly about 3 years ago but stopped when the pandemic hit.

Day 211.  The plan was to do a full Fit for Golf routine tonight, but I was a bit too sore for it, so it ended up as a FFG mobility routine.

Day 1:

Took a few days off to refocus. Stack arrived today, but my left arm is too sore from Covid booster and flu shot to really make hard swings so I’ll wait until next week. This evening I  hit balls simply making athletic swings. Did about 20 balls with a 7-iron.

Day 28- focused on some SV4 items.  Did the medicine ball drill detailed in LSW, emphasizing the use of the ground.  I am a little more rotational, and eager to see how this translates during tomorrow’s round.  Finished the sessions with some putting drills for bead and speed.

Day 75 (10/7/22): Full swing practice, different clubs, trying to get the correct impact position. Impatient, poor session. Hit alot of balls but very few were hit well. Still not able to get the impact feel on full swings from a normal address. I did figure out that I might have been standing a bit too close to the ball, but beyond that I didn't learn much. I began ok, with 3-9 length swings, and good contact and finish position. But I couldn't get that to happen in longer swings more than maybe 1 in 15 shots.

Day 212.  I hit two dozen quarter shots with my 54 degree this evening, indoors, off a mat, into a net.  I focused on setting up and having the right grip.  I wanted to hit some full shots but my body tonight did not cooperate.
