Day 37:

Played 18. Didn’t execute my piece every swing, but when I did the results were solid (8 GIR + 5 nGIR, 79).

Day 66. Short game practice, 100y and in. Better than yesterday but a ways to go.
 

Followed by working on impact technique. When I work on where the club ends up post impact, I seem to hit the ball much better. Feels like day to day incremental progress.

Day 15:  Practiced my swing, no hitting, just focused on all the feels. 

I may not hit the ball far, but at least I find all of the pretty flowers.

Slow motion swings trying to ingrain feels from yesterday’s round. Finished with putting drills through 50 mm gates.

Day 18( 19 May 25) - Easy afternoon session with the GW - hitting some easy short “greenside style” pitches in the backyard from 5yds out to 20 or so….

Day 67. Played my first 18 of the year. Not a great score but hit some really good shots for me. Highlights include a chip in for birdie, couple good drives, but even better for me a couple 6 iron approach shots landing on the green. Perhaps some of the practice is paying off 🙂

Day 2 - More grip and setup. Tried a few swing thoughts since the grip and setup stuff is complete once I start the backswing.

Stack Training Session. Hit high speeds in every weight but the final 195 gram. Fell 1 mph short of hitting my highest speed in this program. Maybe on Wednesday!

Worked on hips/trail leg feelat top of backswing. Hit a few balls but it was to dark to really judge results.

      It seems like any small mistake is exponentially exacerbated in the U.S. Open set up.  This tournament seems to be a very good test on identifying who makes the least mistakes - not who makes the best shots.

      Day 575, May 31, 2024 Played about five holes without a distraction today, and about 13 while my mind was elsewhere and on the taps on my wrist and the messages I was sharing with @Hardspoon and… just generally being annoyed about what was happening. But I played pretty well for the five holes.
