Day 46 (18 Oct 25) - Local community college fund raising tournament today…4 man Captain’s Choice.  One of our team members fell ill just before tee time…we were allowed to rotate who could hit two balls on the hole to keep it four ball fun…while it’s easy to go low, it was a fun day of working on solid course management and making better shot choices…btw we won our flight with a 10 under 62….

Day 384 - 2025-10-19

Hip kinda okay today but didn't want to push it, so I hit a lot of chip shots. Different types. Different lies.

Day 47 (19 Oct 25) - Got in an abbreviated round this afternoon.  With a steady 10-15 mph south wind - was ride the wind out, fight it coming in.  Was a good opportunity to work on keeping the ball flight lower into the head winds and getting it higher to ride the tail winds….overall a good day to focus on setup and consistent shot execution.

Day 45 (October 19).  More of the same, but only full swing today (12 balls).  Busier day than I expected.

I did get out to get some video of me putting on a real green, or so I thought -- the green may not have been cut in days.

Day 48 (20 Oct 25) - day full of windshield time so no outside stuff with the game.  Worked on the "P" positions in front of the mirror - really focusing on initial takeaway and then P6 into P7 - all in slower motion.

Day 46 (October 20).  Snuck out this afternoon to play twilight 18 holes;  too bad handicap rules prohibit me posting it, I played well.  My focus for full swing was my current priority piece of shorter backswing (one practice swing at most and go, though, is how I play), and with putting inside 10', I was just focusing on the putter face.  I played well and regret that I cannot post it.

Drove most of the day, but got a little mirror work in. Hip still 85% but trending in the right direction. Hoping for no set-backs.

Day 386 - 2025-10-21

Played 18 holes today. Was very frustrating because the better golf swing was something that would be less painful and stuff, but my body kept trying to "protect" the right hip (muscles, not joints - they're sore but the movement feels "okay") or something. I hit like four really good shots. Still managed to score okay.

Day 47 (October 21).  Tuesday is my super busy day at work, and I just didn't have the energy for full swing when I got home.  I did spend five minutes putting (same drill as the last few times).  There is something relaxing about just focusing on face angle.
