We are renting a house in Ireland and will play golf for 2 weeks next July. We will then take a cruise ship from Oslo to St Petersburg. What is best way (reasonably priced) to ship clubs from Ireland to Florida

Shipping service quoted us around $240 1 way Honolulu to Edinburgh, the airline charged us nothing so we combined 2 sets into 1 bag, and bought an inexpensive bag upon arrival and just donated it when we left.

With all the heads off the metals the irons fit pretty easily.

Sorry, I have no clue. Never been in Ireland. But what I do when I visit Florida from the Netherlands, I book a flight and pay for the golfbag. It is not that expensive. Some companies let you take your bag for free. Like KLM when you sign up for their special programm for golfers, signing up  also for free.

edit: ah thats not gonna help is it? I really have no clue :8)

I would be so worried that my clubs would go missing. Also, how about how long they take to arrive back, although I guess if you are off on a cruise they should arrive back before you. Maybe it would be best to hire clubs while you are in Ireland?

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
