I can only assume the group was your typical blow hards who have no idea they play slow. Ridiculous to get physical over it.

If this is the one that happened at Kickingbird GC, I saw it on the news the other day. 

You never know what can happen anymore. Violence can show up anywhere, at anytime. My guess is  the whole group has mental issues. Slow play was just a small part of it. 

Luckily after some staples, and stitches, the guy was going to be ok. 

I have caught groups while out as a single. I just hang back, and wait. I always have plenty of time. I remember reading some where that singles on the course have no rights, when compared to groups. 

I've witnessed a couple of on course physical issues take place over the years. One was over cigar smoke, and the other was over guys hitting balls at players in front of them. There's something about a couple of police cars driving down a fairway that is way, way out of place.

The TV news guy discribed one of the attackers as a course volunteer. He ended his report by saying there was no word if the voluteer would still be allowed to remain a volunteer at this course.  DUH...you think?

Ridiculous.  A group of seniors no less. I suspect their must have been some agitation brewing in the preceding holes and maybe even a few "push them along" shots?  No doubt more to the story -  the line of Oklahoma attorneys is growing.
