I'm seeing an "as tested" review weighing the cart at 19.5 lbs which is over 2 lbs more than a Sun Mountain Speed V - which seems to be the most popular version, at least that I see.

From personal experience, the clicgears are harder to steer. My two most frequent golf partners use them and from time to time I'll end up pushing it over to them. I think it might be that the handle is lower than my Sun Mountain, giving less leverage.

I'll say this, I have no doubt that a clicgear will outlast pretty much anything else out there. Those things are built like tanks. But for me, I'd rather have something lighter and more easily maneuvered.

You can adjust the height of the handle.

Just push the handle down slightly to lift the front wheel and sharp turns are pretty easy, or at least easy enough I’ve never thought about it or wished it were easier.

As tested means with whatever accessories they've got put on. You can't compare the "As Tested" version against another cart without similar accessories.

I got my ClicGear 3.5+ just the other day.

What an awesome cart. Anyway, I had also heard that stand bags don't work well on ClicGear carts. This guy came up with a great way to put the bag on the cart. I have a bigger stand bag than this guy has. This guy's system though works perfectly. Very secure for stand bags on ClicGear.

If you have a ClicGear and a stand bag I recommend this guy's method.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

And I recommend the little thing I had mentioned up above as working really, really well too. My stand bag isn't tall enough on the 3.5+ - it hits a bit too high to go "under" the legs. My daughter's is similar - an inch or two too short.

If your bag works with this method, yeah, it's a good way to go.

I have been looking into push carts for about a year now, and while I was at the golf show yesterday they had a sale on the Clicgear 3.5+ model.  Pulled the trigger.  Can't wait to try it out this spring with my local muni opening after a redesign I look forward to lots of rounds this summer now that I should have some time on hands again.

Even just testing the other models at the show, I thought the clicgear build quality was worth the extra money.  Hoping to walk more and save a lot on carts fees going forward!

I have two push carts, a Sun Mountain GT Speed Cart, and a Bag Boy Quad XL. Both are good carts, and work well with either cart or stand bags. I'm sure that if I had a Clicgear, I'd like that, too.

    • Why wouldn't it have? It's not like you were playing it as a 145yd par 5 and made a 2 or something.  Or not like it was playing 50yds to a temporary green or something either.

    • I know you guys were discussing this like a year ago. But, ironically I just had this discussion with my brother-in-law. We literally just did one of these. I'd always used the "Slow-Cook, Rest, and Sear" Method. But my bother-in-law was convinced the "5-Min/lb, 500 degree" method was the way. So, we gave it a go. I have to say it came out great.  I have a 25 year old, electric oven, GE brand... Not sure if that matters, but it came out great. ... Of course we stressed that nobody was to open the oven.   I don't make these all that often so, I'm not sure if I can fully recommend one method or the other, because without doing a Pepsi Challenge, I'd say both ways come out great. 👍😁👍
