The shafts may not be suitable.

Yeah, that's what my pro said, got lucky and he happened to text me while I was at the store, said shafts were too stiff. Just wanted to feel what the heads were like.

Got a better idea of what I'm looking for, less GI, less bighead, more cavity/muscle back but not blade, thinner top-line, how the head is designed, w/regards to aesthetics, doesn't matter as much.

Life is short. Got MP-53s, 4-PW, will get fitting info from instructor and bring to Pete's to get fitted. Hopefully get some time in with them with in the remaining summer. I really never liked the big heads of the Titleist AP2s.

Will see how it goes with regard to driver.

Just read this whole thread. For a guy who hates shopping, you sure are doing a lot of shopping! But you know I think you've made a great decision and I think your way of going about it is also very instructive. The MP 53's are beautiful and  should suit you well for a long time. Best, -Marv

My intention was to do a lot more, demo a lot more clubs, at least dozen different sets, but I said screw it. I went to the same store to demo clubs twice, it's more research online into what's out there in terms of heads, shafts, and setup, I'll just learn along the way I guess.
