Irrelevant really. My pure speculative comment was that she’s taking time away and her fairly recent escapades with golf may have a large role in this. She may feel that she let this victim role go to far and her conscience is telling her she wishes she had just owned up to her ‘accident’ and said she honors golf and respects the field and accepts the penalty and wishes her fans would do the same. And I’m purely speculating this but that may take a toll on her young self.

Now you are way off.

So this is a pretty personal post and some people might think it’s stupid or that I’m crazy but I’m going to share it anyway.... one of the biggest issues I’ve gone through is my self image/ body confidence. When I was really young, I just ate what I wanted to, didn’t care about fitness at all or what I weighed. Then as I slowly got into fitness seeing the results, I started getting crazy about it, seeing the attention I was getting, doing certain photo shoots I never thought I would. I was putting my body through brutal workouts twice a day not really eating because I thought that’s the way I would lose weight and weighing myself constantly. I would compare my self to these stick thin or fitness models on Instagram, tearing myself down because I didn’t have the toned stomach or the big butt. As a girl I know body confidence is a huge part of life and what we all go through. You think you’ll be happy once you get this certain body? But will you really be? Maybe more confident and by doing it the right way is how u need to go about it. The only way you’ll ever be truly happy though is if you love yourself first. But what I want to share is that your not alone in any of your struggles. And what I’ve learned is that I’m not going to deprive myself in the one life I get to live, I’m going to enjoy life and my food . You should never compare your body to others it’s a never ending battle of being miserable trust me. Your body is your body, it is beautiful so embrace it ❤️

Lol. True. People get real touchy when the word 'millennial' is used. But..yeah. I know I don't know what's going on in her life. But really, she's young and getting to make a living playing golf. And making a lot more than most people her age. She has a whole hell of a lot to be grateful for. And there are millions out there who put in the same effort as she to have a more satisfying body and get a fraction of the results she has. Like I said, I don't know the details of her personal life and everybody has their troubles. But I do have a bit of a hard time feeling much sorrow for her. Maybe that's unfair but I just don't think she's got it as bad as she wants people to think she has.

Yea I obviously agree. I think she just wants to eat Doritos and let herself go and not hear any shit about it...

Lol! That’s awesome. So odd she states she has a ‘body image issue’ yet never fails to post numerous pics of herself striking poses. I guess she expects us to feel how painful it is for her to see Blair, Paige and Paulina smoke showing the slide shows while she’s just doing the best she can. I’m just not really a fan of hers at all.

I don’t think that having body image issues and posting an occasional bikini pic are at odds. You don’t have to be a fan to have some sympathy here.

I hope she sorts this out.

If you've had a daughter, or other female family member, with serious body image issues, I don't think you'd say this. Not saying that Lexi has serious issues, but these issues can be very serious and even deadly.

This is true. However I do feel those who suffer from body image issues who are obese, cystic acne, eczema, psoriasis, losing their hair can develop serious issues and it can be deadly as you said. I'm just saying, and perhaps unfairly, that Lexi has a wonderful support system (as she's said), she's wealthy, she's young, successful, and has an outstanding physical, athletic body. I'm being crass in that I suspect her 'issue' is more of a 'I deserve to have the best and it's not fair I don't look like those models' millennial attitude. I obviously would never wish any ill will on anyone who suffers from a true case of this. Lexi played the victim as we all know. I am suspect of her 'issue' is all I'm saying.

Let's be careful here. Anorexia is a real disease that has claimed many lives, some very successful and some very poor. I'm not sure if she has that issue, but her comments lead me to guess that she may have been heading down that road,.

Harsh viewpoints from @Vinsk and @Valleygolfer . I wish her strenght with her battle. Looks like she is unhappy to say the least. Never underestimate what the mind does to your mental health.

Yes I was harsh and apologize. I sometimes vent my frustrations here and it wasn’t fair I speculated her problem to be baseless. @boogielicious You’re right. That is a possibility based on what she has said. Anyway, sorry guys. It was too much.

    • I have been debating getting a launch monitor of some sort, if only so I can re-figure my shot zones (I haven't actually mapped them in years) and also to practice distance wedges at home.  I have to see if this works with either my current setup, or what my setup would be if I move it to the garage.
    • Day 48, June 23.  After work today, I took 25 minutes in my practice room;  6-iron, same everything as yesterday except the time and count.
    • Well, this is interesting.  I think we discovered a few months ago that I haven't been following professional golf in a while (my confusion about Scotty's footwork confirmed that), so at least as I aim to follow a bit more I'll get something new to learn with all of you.  My very quick read of Erik's summary makes me think this new Challenger series fits somewhere between Korn Ferry and the Championship (not Champions, but I know I'm going to make that mistake a few times if I'm not careful!).   My recollection is that there were already second-tier events among the PGA Tour;  the Bob Hope didn't have the same quality of field as the event at Riviera (whose current name I forget, although now that I say that, I realize the Palm Springs event hasn't been called the Bob Hope in a few years either).   With the absence of the FedEx (if I'm reading that correctly), does that mean no more FedEx Cup at all? Hopefully I'll have time later in 2026 to sit down and see what we're in for in 2027, where one of my goals already is to follow more professional golf.
    • The highlights as I see them: Championship and Challenger Series The creation of the PGA Tour and the PGB Tour, in the words of Joel Dahmen a few years ago. They're calling them the Championship Series (23-24 events) and the Challenger Series (20+ events). Both run February to August. They feel this will achieve three things: increasing the consistency and quality of fields across the season creating a clear system for players to earn and retain status and delivering a more structured and competitive experience for fans and partners—all in an effort to strengthen meritocracy. Championship Series Structure and Eligibility The 23-24 events includes the Players, majors, season-ending events, and the Presidents Cup and Ryder Cup. These will be 72-hole events with a 36-hole cut to the top 65 and ties and purses of $20M+. 120 players without an alternate list. 90 players (roughly) from the previous year and 20 players promoted from the Challenger Series. Full eligibility will be finalized later this year. Sites (cities) to be finalized soon, but 10 of the 15 courses have already been determined. Postseason: includes retention and relegation and concludes with match play. The Tour Championship will also be played across a rotation of prestigious courses. Challenger Series Structure and Eligibility 20+ events. Running concurrently. Will feature players fighting their way back to the Championship Series or players graduating and on the upswing from the Korn Ferry Tour. Many of these events will be current PGA Tour courses. About 7 of the Challenger Series events will be during off weeks for the Championship Series with elevated purses and visibility. Purses of at least $4M, with cuts similar to the Champ series. 144 player fields. Competitive Fields for Both Series Players will be eligible for only one series at a time: Championship Series Players are not eligible for Challenger Series events. Championship Series members will have a known schedule with all events having the same eligibility. Players and Majors will have their own eligibility criteria. Championship Series players don't have to play all events. This begs the question about, say, the Canadian Open, and other "home-town" events that players might want to play, even if they're Challenger Series events. Will releases be granted? Promotion and Relegation At least 90 players will be retained in the Championship Series, and 20 players will be promoted from the Challenger Series each year. Battlefield promotion for two-time winners from the Challenger Series. Players relegated from the Championship Series will have a "last chance" opportunity to retain status, or will go to the Challenger Series. Criteria will be finalized before the start of the 2027 season. Points System New points system (not FedExCup points). Separate points systems for the Championship and Challenger Series. Elevated points in the Challenger Series for off-weeks on the Championship Series. More details tk. Elevated International Events in the Fall The fall schedule will include a limited series of elevated international events with top players from the Championship Series, with the intent to deliver in partnership with the DP World Tour as part of the Strategic Alliance. Last Chance Series The Tour will develop a “last chance” series of 4-6 events in the fall, with a limited number of spots on the Championship Series available for top finishers. Eligibility will include players relegated from the Championship Series, Challenger Series players, and other categories to be determined. Q-School continues, as do the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA Tour Latinoamerica. Also, Brian Rolapp is the new commissioner as of January 1, 2027.
