I have a Ping G driver and an standard 65 Stiff shaft. Looking to replacing this with an X-stiff shaft, and have found some online with Ping adapter.

I have about 98mph swingspeed with an 7 iron, and quite high launch in general.

Please help me decide:

Project X Black, 6.5
Project X LZ 70, 7.0
Project X LZ 70, 6.5

Driver: Cobra F9 Speedback 9*, Hzrdus Black 6.5 44.5"
Fairway: Cobra F9, 14.5*, Hzrdus Smoke 6.5
Irons: Cobra F8 4, KBS C-Taper X. Cobra 2019 Forged cb/mb 4-Pw, KBS C-Taper X
Wedges: Cobra King Black 50* & 58*, KBS C-Taper S+
Putter: Taylor Made Ghost Spider S
Ball: Bridgestone B330-S

If you want lower launch and spin, chose the shaft with that characteristic.  The Black is low launch.

All I saw on the LZ is that it is a steel iron shaft. Maybe it’s different in Sweden.

Both the PX Black and the LZ 70 driver shafts are older. The LZ is from 2015.

It looks like it is similar to the Black but was made as an OEM shaft. Tough to guess which will feel better to you.

Yeah. I was just thinking if the LZ might be a bit "softer" and maybe 7.0 would suit me better, as it's easier to load? Or would that be jumping to conclusions?

Hard to say without hitting it. For me, it is all about feel. I like the driver shaft to feel like it is loading on the downswing and be not too stiff near the hands.

Nothing harder than buying a shaft online without being able to test it first. I got lucky with mine that I ended up liking it, but I bought it from a shop with a 30 day return policy so I was only going to lose money on shipping if I didn't.

Yeah. My shaft is too soft, so I found some eBay alternatives with adapter for a low cost. Dont wanna invest too much in this 🤔

That's exactly what I did.

The LZ is currently only an iron shaft in steel.

In 2015, it was also available in graphite driver/fairway shafts. I have one in a Callaway XR 3 wood, and I like it. I think the Even Flow has similar characteristics, though not perhaps an exact replacement. The EvenFlow comes in blue and black, with the blue being a little lighter and mid-high launch. I have Even Flow blue in 6.0 in my driver, 3 wood, and hybrid. At my swing speed it is more mid launching, but I like it a lot.

Thank you for the feedback!

I went with a Diamana Ahina X-stiff. It should be low launching, low spin, and a really stiff X apparantly.

Yeah, the ahina would be more of a clear cut choice.  If the black was a HZRDUS  Black....you'd get low launch and spin.  The old PX black...who knows.  The LZ shafts I had in some Callaway woods and they felt smooth as hell but really had no control.  I don't load a shaft hard but these were stupid easy to load and I wasn't used to that.  It made me feel like I needed to go up in flex...but I didn't need to...felt like I did because it was really loading.
