Flat Left Wrist...Goodbye Slice

I've read articles about this and seen spots about it on Golf Channel, but never really thought much about it.

I was slicing all over the place at a golf tournament a couple of weeks ago, so I decided to look at my swing again. I also happened to see a recent video about the flat left wrist (in the take-away, where I was tending to cup it, opening the face), and decided to give it a try. 
I can't get over the results. Instantly I was hitting it straight with my driver. I combined it with a higher hand position in my back swing and boom! I started hitting straight, low rising drives without loosing any distance. 

If you're having trouble slicing, this might be your answer (for your driver, anyway).

Anyone else have similar experiences with it?

I will give it a try. I took a lesson recently to stop the fade/slice and the pro didn't say anything about it, we'll see at the range.

I almost/often prefer that people have a cupped wrist on the backswing because people who try to keep it flat on the backswing often cup it on the downswing.

Good to know. Mark Crossfield said to bow vs cup the left wrist, (for a righty) on the back swing. Didn't work for me.

I've always kept it flat throughout the backswing.  Doing so I know I never slice.  I play a draw for the most part.  If I want to fade it, I just open the club face a little and make the same swing.

If you play a draw then your face is already open to the target. Your clubface determines the direction the ball starts. Your swing path determines the way it curves.
