recently ordered 2 dozen Pro V1's  from Lostgolfballs.com

Although I ordered the 5A , they were really no different than the 4A. I suspect that they are mixing in some of their lower quality as one that I have been batting around outside, It got quite dingy quickly. They are not supposed to be refurbished but I suspect they are. Granted being left outside, they won't keep their luster as new, but it just seems as if the coating just doesn't hold up as well. Performance wise, its hard to say. I will know after a few real rounds. I think I paid around $58 including shipping for two dozen.

I don't buy used golf balls anymore for all the concerns you just shared.

For $4 more you could have bought some brand new Snells.

Also no longer buying used balls. The last batch I got ("5A") had a very noticeable loss of distance on all clubs compared to brand new balls of the same make and model. I tested them side by side during a practice round. Not worth saving $10 on balls when I'm already paying a green fee which is much more expensive than that.

Yup.

And there are a lot of very good balls that you can buy for even less than that.

I stopped using the used balls when it became clear to me a lot of them were balls I lost already....so right with Kirkland, Snell and Cut golf balls priced so well why use a ball that has already figured out how to get away from you....

I bought some used 5A Bridgestone E6 and some Srixon Q-Star from Amazon.   The Q-Star were good but the Bridgestone golf balls were duds.   They were about 15 yards shorter than the Titleist DT Trusoft that I purchased.

I'll never buy used/reconditioned/refurbished again.   There are many good choices under $30 / dz.

    • Day 3- Practiced putting for 20 minutes.
    • Interesting that Scottie is #10 on the all time money list and he's been on the PGAT for 4 years. Of course, purses are bigger now, but  neat to look at non-the-less.  The list of top 18 money winners in PGA Tour history has plenty of surprises This list is updated through the 2024 RBC Heritage. To add, Scottie won 4.5 million at the Players, Jack played 44 seasons and won a little of 5 million on course.
    • 43 (6 over) Couple bogies, couple Pars, a birdie and no doubles. Not bad for first 9 of the year.
    • Most the stuff I found on Instagram and just copy and mix it up. a few of my favorites: Clean>Squat>Press> March Around the body >catch >Squat> press I also hold a the kettle bell upside down with both hands on the handle. Squat when I stand back up I lift the kettlebell up over and behind my head and hold then repeat
    • Not sure this is the best thread but, if the rain holds off, today is my 1st round of the year.  Getting ready I can not find my Shot Scope.  I guess I put it away too well for the winter and thus that is may "Winter Depression".  I'm sure I put it somewhere that made sense at the time.
