Bad Golf Day

So I’m still a beginner at about 2 1/2 months in I practice three hours every single day learning my irons and spending a lot of money on balls and I was wondering what does everyone do when you have a perfect day and then you have a terrible day or in or you just cannot hit anything right and then you’re crushed and you want to quit but you know you’re going to be there early in the morning the next day but your soul just feels crushed

The feel of a good shot is a reminder of better things to come.   Chin up.   We all have bad days and sometimes have better days.   I highly recommend buying LSW.    It is a game changer.   Use the many videos on the site and ask tons of questions.   If you haven't yet, start a member's swing thread.   The informed will be very welcoming and you will benefit tremendously.

Bad golf days serve a purpose. They are what golfers measure their good days against. They also give the golfer something to look forward to. (those good days)

Myself, having a bad day is no big deal. I expect them to show up when least expected. Heck, I expect to have a bad golf day pretty soon.  It's golf, some days are better, or worse than others. If my round hoplessly goes south, I just grin, shake my head, and keep playing. Maybe I will pull off one, or two really good shots, or miraculously make a double breaking snake of a putt. You never know.

Now if I have a run of bad days, I don't panick, and try to rebuild my swing. I know my good swing/game is just misplaced for a while, and is usually caused by fatigue. I just give it a rest, and do something else with my spare time.

When not playing golf as well as you had planned, envisioned, or hoped, becomes a "bad day"...you have reached the suburbs of Nirvana.  Like everything else...this game punishes worst those who love it the most.  It is the price we pay for making an emotional investment.
