Question.  I Cary irons up to a 4 and have carried a rescue for a very long time.  I hit my 4 about 235 to 240, and hit my rescue about 250. Then I have a 3 wood o hit about 270-275. Because I hit the ball farther than most, and the courses I frequently play are tight I find myself playing iron off of most tees.  The issue I have is, if there is any headwind, my rescue balloons and goes nowhere.  I am also more consistent with my irons, so I rarely take my rescue out of my bag.  I want to replace it with something.  I have considered a driving iron or a 2 iron. Any opinions on what direction I should go?

Or a wedge to fill in a yardage gap where you hit a lot of approach shots.

I vote for driving iron. I visited my fitter not too long ago and was going through my setup. He highly suggested the driving irons and after hitting a few, I loved them. I haven't put one in my bag yet, but it will be my next purchase. I believe it would be a very beneficial off the tee club for myself and the courses I play.
