As I'm sure you know, the pigskin pickin meal Friday night was very solid and they gave you huge portions.
We found a new favorite cocktail too after talking to some other golfers called a Transfusion, if I remember right, it consisted of vodka, grapefuit juice, grape juice, and ginger ale, it was delicious. They didn't skimp out on the pours at Talamore and Mid South too.
Friday after the pigskin dinner we went over to Southern Pines Brewing for a while for some beers and ended up getting some late night tacos from the food truck that was there called California Taco, he had some great chorizo and a really spicy red salsa too.
Good to hear! Yeah that swing thought helped me out a lot years back when my takeaway was wayyyy inside my target line causing me to have the shanks. You just need to make sure you're still hinging the wrists correctly on the takeaway
Would you say your misses are "acceptable"? If you are shooting 71, you probably hit the ball more or less "consistently" even if you don't feel you did your best.
After reading LSW, I deliberately hit long clubs. Still do ... it's most of my practice. But I didn't START OUT hitting long clubs. That's the point I'm making.
