Interesting, I wonder if putting a mark at that spot would be enough to get any kind of consistency. I wonder if that’s allowed?

No mark was added, but for those type putts I'm pretty consistent.

I tried this toe method at my usual putting practice area. Just flat putts, but I was testing to see if I could get more consistent short putts this way. The front to back dispersion was about the same 3”-5” from 3’ as with hitting the sweet spot aligned to the “line”.

Hitting off center with my center weighted Big Fontana putter just felt like the putter twists in my hands and did not give me better distance control for short putts. It just felt mis hit. Not sure this method is any better than just tapping lightly?

EVERY putt inside 15 feet--> Read the putt, feel the speed, pick a target at hole distance. Aim club face to that target, pick a spot 10 inches in front of the ball and make it roll thru that spot. Repeat.
Never had a positive SG Putting inside 10 feet before this.

I used to use to of putter but with my new Indy Toulon there's no room bc I'd be off the diamond milled middle.. so just aim with less of a normal stroke and hope🤔

Treat it like any other putt.

Read the break. Feel the speed. Let it go and hope it goes in.

Simple.

I think trying to doing something different can develop bad habits.

But, then, I'm no Ben Crenshaw.

In my bag Driver: Cleveland CG tour black Fairway Woods: Diablo Octane 3 wood; Diablo 5 wood Irons: Mizuno MP53 5-9 Hybrid: Cobra 3, 4 T-Rail Wedge: 46* Cleveland, 50* Cleveland, 54* Titleist, 60* Titleist Putter: Odyssey protype #6 Ball: Maxfli U4/U6... But I'm not really picky about the ball I use.

Hitting it off the toe is a recipe for an unpredictable line at impact.

I just hit it very softly.  Move the putter head very little.

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
