    • Yeah okay that’s fair enough. Rachel Drummond is the student. I’m not exactly sure her history but I think she’s a decent player. She’s struggling with thin contact and gets this lesson. The do a decent amount of work on how she moves her pressure around and getting the club moving in the right direction. After that it’s a little past my ability to follow. Lots of drills hitting a towel and getting the club moving the right way. All in all it’s an interesting video and the guy doing the coaching is a very good player in his own right who crushes it (would give Monte a run for his money I think)
    • Day 535 - 2026-03-20 Light day because a full day. Got some swings in this morning before setting up for a long day of GEARS work.
    • You're supposed to start it off. 😄  I mean… it's a 46-minute long video.
    • Tournament course this week plays tough. Very different type of tough as Augusta but tough none the less
    • Hey, I’ve played a format like this before, and honestly it’s super fun. I like how it mixes the sixes-style partner rotation with a cumulative match-play scoring system it keeps things fresh since you switch partners every round. The doubling rules can make things intense, so I’m careful with the stakes; I’ve seen bets get way higher than expected if someone’s on a roll. Personally, I’d call it something like “Cumulative Sixes with Doubling” just to separate it from standard sixes, but it’s a great way to keep everyone engaged. I really enjoy how it balances skill and luck across the group.
