this is pretty much my biggest golf problem (concentration). Today, i shot par on the front 9, had total control of my head and gold ball, par'd the 10th and 11th and then completely lost any and all concentration. Typically I carry a few energy drinks to help me keep focused. A buddy who is a doctor and knows me well told me to try it and it helps but i didnt have any on me today. ended up shooting 78 which is good for me but not where i should have finished.

so he has what 4 lifetime exemptions ?

I dont see the big deal in her comments. The woman behind them is clearly not attractive. Her comment was honest (god forbid)

id like to think there is a time its acceptable but it never is. possibly hurting someone badly just isnt worth it

it was nice to see a pro play a round of golf like i do for a change

i travel fairly often for work with clubs. i find its just easier and cheaper to check them at the airport. the one time i did, i used fedex. i seem to recall it costing around 140 bucks round trip

for me, its strictly looks when using them. they just fit my eye better

I guess im lucky to be perfect and have no flaws.

when the good looking ones play well, i tend to watch more.

yeah, must be a NJ thing. ive played 4 courses so far in NJ this year and all were aerated. not fun at all. they should at least discount the round a few bucks or warn me before i book the teetime

only reason i never joined a CC was I never wanted to be stuck playing the same course all the time. Paying that kind of money would force me to play there. To me, that would be boring quickly. But i do respect the positives mentioned here

the only time id ever take a practice swing is when its a very difficult shot like under a tree, around a tree etc... otherwise i get up to the ball and hit it. same as the OP, i dont wanna waste good swings. so im interested in hearing others

whenever paired up with "that guy" i find that one nasty/mean comment to them shuts them up for the round or they quit after a few holes cause i dont talk to them at all. its really pretty simple.

i want them all to take steroids. the further they hit the ball, the more entertained i am. I dont care what they do, just entertain me !

50 and sunny here is my low limit. anything else is just not enjoyable to me
