  1. I love these contests that TST puts on. Thank you to every one who makes it happen. As a former winner I want to say great pick a,nd congrats! it's an awesome feeling when the guy you pick wins it and at just the right score.
  2. Tigers chip shot on 16 at the Memorial last year. His tee shot went long and settled down in the thick rough. His chip shot was stright down hill, no one that day held the green from where he was. Next thing you know he knocks it in like it was no problem. That shot basically one him the tourny. Unbelievable I have never heard a roar so loud.
  3. As an athletic trainer and a physical therapy student it sounds like most of your pain is a result of poor posture. The doctor will more than likely refer you to a PT or you can skip the doctor and go straight to a PT as most states do not need a referral any longer
  4. I have triedand tried to be able to take a divot like the "pros" becuase i thoughtthat wastherightway, but it ever worked. I do not take a divot and now say I resemble my swing after Steve stricker. I also get plenty of spin and distance.
  5. Brandt Snedeker : -13 Branden Grace: -12 Nicolas Colsaerts: -12
  6. I'm in. Tough year this time
  7. I think it's great for the game. Things like this will help grow the game to new players who think golf is a sport that is "stuck up" and no room for fun.
  8. isn't there a mp58 set
  9. Here you go sorry http://sweeps.golfweek.com/bracket.asp?ID=7&Bracket;=26254&Incomplete;=1
  10. Im in under my avatar as my last name. Should be fun to watch
  11. I entered. Maybe Santa got lost on his way to my house and will bring me this.
  12. Stonelick, Legendary Run, Aston Oaks, and Still Meadow Country Club (formerly Royal Oak) are all nice courses in the Cincinnati area
  13. I hit both the r11s 17* and RBZ 17* stiff flex. I hit them both with an average of 260-265 on the launch monitor. So I went with the R11s and like it just as much as the RBZ for $50 cheaper. After buying the 17* I lowered the loft down to 15.5* to gain some distance and having the smaller head size to be able to hit it out of the rough easier.
  14. I don't feel that this should be a big news story. $100 million doesn't go as far as it would of for Snead. Yes its alot of money but you have to look at it in comparison. The price of everything as gone up. I'm sure the money that Snead and Hogan won was alot back then too
  15. Aggressive Round Score: 62 Conservative Round Score: 67 Average 7-Iron Distance: 160 Notes: For me the aggressive round was more enjoyable, because it gave me a new challenge and a new look to a course that I play all the time. As for a hidden strength I would say it would be my iron shots into the greens, my weakness is still putting as you will see below in my stats. The shorter tees put more pressure on my drives during the aggressive round it took me a couple of hole to really figure out an out while still going for the green. I learned that I really need to work on my putting. I shot lower than my predicted scores I guess I just didn't think it would make that much of a difference in my conservative round because your really playing from where you usually score from. Overall this was really fun and can't wait for the next experiment. PS: I got alot of funny looks around the course when I walked up the the front tees. Here are some stats from my two rounds AGGRESSIVE GIR=15/18 Putts=29 Front 9 score= 35 (-1) Back 9 score= 27 (-9) Greens hit off tee= 2 and two par 5's I reached in two CONSERVATIVE Fairways hit= 14/14 GIR=17/18 Putts=31
  16. I tend to do this as well. I fix it by doing one of two different things. 1) I will close off the face at setup and take my normal swing. Or 2) will open the face setup and "try" to draw the ball. Either way one of these things end up working
  17. Holing out from the fairway is a great feeling that doesn't happen alot. Feels good not to have to use that stupid putter.
  18. 4 iron. Mostly becuase I can hit my 5 iron just as far and much more pure as the 4. I'm thinking about ditching it and picking up a 60*
  19. I hope they show this whole round of Tiger. When does coverage start?
  20. Show up 15 before a round get checked in and head to the first tee. Go through my pre shot routine and I'm good
  21. They won't improve your game but it will save you some money. I bought a pack of orange ones two years ago and still haven't used half of them. I will use the same tee for 10 rounds before it breaks.
  22. I actually have played the 3 wood and the hybrid. They were given to me from my grandfather which I don't know where he got them from. But they feel good, I love love workability of the hybrid. I can draw it or fade it and use it around the greens. I have never dealt with them personally but it seems like to much of a hassle when Im sure there are better clubsout there to be had. I only play these because they were free for me. However I did just get a R11s 3wood and can say it is much farther then the warrior but may not feel as good off the face.
