I believe the key here is in the definition of "equipment". Rule 4 is silent on leaf blowers; it basically states what is and isn't allowed with commonly used items. What you may not do is use or do anything that gives you an unfair advantage, therefore unless there is a local rule prohibiting leaf blowers, using one should be ok as long as your group are the only players in the match and you clear the green for all the other players in your group too. But I admit I am stretching it. To me, if you are just out there for fun, go ahead.

Pro V1x for me, was the suggestion to me via trackman due to trajectory and descent angles. I play the yellow ones, would try the left dash if they came in yellow. Makes it much easier to track as I live in Canada and skies are not usually bright blue (which makes white the king) but somewhat grey and overcast (which washes out white balls and I lose sight of them as soon as I hit it). Will try the Maxfli X when they are in yellow. And I dislike "softer" balls as I like to feel when I hit it.

We can probably temper down the distance point with a couple of things: - Was it Mickelson or Poulter who said just make them use no lower than a 10.5 degree driver? - ban the fitness trailers - make them go drink beer in the bar instead of protein shakes after their rounds like the old days. I realize these things won't happen, but these are professional athletes. You can slow down the perceived problem, but I don't think you can ultimately solve it short of bifurcation, which I am not a fan of. Changing/rolling back equipment will just hurt the shorter hitter, professional or otherwise. Not much you can do when some of those guys are working out to look like Mr. Universe.

Don't knock this but believe it or not, feminine panty liners work just as well and cost pennies each. Peel and stick them on the inside rim and trim to fit. Obviously the unscented ones are recommended.

I played and uploaded a round yesterday (Thursday). Used GG Live, the belt sensor and the uploading program on my windows laptop. Did not use the app for my cell phone at all. Everything worked like a charm 😀
