  1. its the grams in the shaft that effect the "TP" version. I use the 75g TP shaft and there is a 65g TP and a 65g stiff that is not a TP. Its just the shaft to sum it up.
  2. I play in weekly Pro Tour events and havent yet had any issues with these balls. I play both the black and red alot of other players use them aswell. Until they arent legal i will use them.
  3. Cleveland wedges for me. I just got a new set from cleveland and by choice i took the 588 DSG 52,56,60..... the zip groove wedges are great for most but i like controling the spin with my wedges and i cant stand when you hit a good shot and too much spin ruins it. 588 series are my prefference..
  4. I also switched to the TP red. I was a pro v man from day one but the taylormade ball is a great switch for me. Im hitting it further and the spin suits my game and ball flight great. I will continue to play the TP red until something better comes along.
  5. If you go to Golf Galaxy or any place that has a monitor they can give you the info you need to order the right shaft for your game. Or find a demo day at a local range or golf club and they should do fittings for you then. If you cant do that then i would call a local titleist rep and get him to det it up for you.
  6. lol there are a few out there. The threads i hate is where people dont help out and just give crap answers or tell people to just do a search
  7. I used one for about a month just after they came out and i was not a fan. I had a friend who is a Callaway rep and he hooked me up and I just ended up giving it back to him. I didnt like the feel or the contact. I switched to the R9 and it is hands above the FT-9, IMO. It comes down to what you like tho.
  8. "whats like a scotty cameron" A scotty cameron good deals on used ones.
  9. 7-5!!! What a freakin joke! Canucks cant hold a lead to save their lives! That was a pathetic display of do or die for the Canucks. I give so much credit to the Hawks they kicked serious ass. Luongo the highest paid goalie in the NHL and he lets in 7 goals in a do or die game...... you if you want to hear unhappy sports fans especially unhappy hockey fans in Canada listen to the team 1040am online lol
  10. I havent had this problem yet, but i rarely change the setting and if I need it changed thats what the Taylormade fitters are for. I have played a little bit with it and you just dont want to over tighten it and the screws should be fine.
  11. So my Nucks better pull it off tonight or thats going to be a pretty crappy post season to loose in the second round again. Luongo and the Sedin's wont be around for many more years with contracts so they gotta get it done soon.
  12. i play online regularly on zynga poker"holdem".... we should get a group together from here and get a game going. Its free and fun so its great fun.
  13. Just curious if there are any poker players on here. If so do you play online? Whats your experience? Any good stories to share?? I got hooked about a year ago and its be a fun ride lol.
  14. Canucks over Hawks in 6 Wings over Ducks in 7 Bruins over Canes in 6 Penguins over Capitals in 7 I think that the ducks could pull it off but it would be a tough battle. I also think that if the Caps learn what Defense is that they would be a good match with the Penguins. Canucks forgot they weren't playing ST.Louis last night and lost that 3 goal lead to pull it off in the end there. They sure need to be a lot smarter and stop the stupid penalties. Canucks will pull it off tho, but I think Chicago will get atleast 1 game at home if not 2 but Canucks in 6.
  15. If you like taylormade irons then i would check them out. The new burners are super forgiving aswell as the new r7 rac irons. For a beginner these would be clubs that you could use forever and a solid custom fitting would help you for sure.
  16. I would recommend having your local pro help you correcting the slice rather then fiddling with clubs. Nothing wrong with having a draw driver but i would try and get that slice thing looked at.
  17. Well I have 3 07 Jeep Wrangler Sahara (3'' lift and 35's) great hunting truck 05 PT Cruiser Convertible touring ED (wifes car) 68 Ford Mustang 302 V8 (all original with matching numbers ) Love toys and have had a few here and there.
  18. The new R9 is amazing. The best driver I have ever had by far. It is so versitile and there are so many diffrent ways to help your game with it. If you get a chance or are interested in this club go and do a custom fitting and you will see how much this club can help. IMO its leaps above the competion.
  19. The Canucks are very deep. 1st/2nd/3rd and 4th lines are all deep, look what they did to St.louis who was the best NHL team since february. Their D is tops in the league and a punishingly tough. Then theres Luongo well enough said! 128 saves on 133 shots that speaks for itself. I would feel totaly comfortable playing the wings or flames who ever. Canucks PK is best in the playoffs and Burrows is clutch with big goals when you need them. pound for pound i wouldnt bet against them.
  20. Good investment i would recommend going and getting it fitted. Just take it to a club fitter and they can bend and set the lie to fit your putting style. $300 investment would pay off alot better if it was custom fit. Putters are more finacky then a driver or irons and we all get them fitted rather then buying right off the rack. Congrats on the putter.
  21. I have a cg 12 copper 56* and I like it... Its getting time for a new set of wedges tho.
  22. I found one out on the course when I was playing a little while ago, i found it to be nice and soft but just didnt get the ball action i am used to getting.
  23. Alot of players dont relize the importance of good solid foot wear. The whole balance and structure realize on your feet. i did alot of research and found my new boots! Adidas Tour 360 3.0 black silver.... Love them! great flexibility and super durable. Anybody else find foot wear to be an important part of their game or do most just pass this part over?
  24. Okay well i will give some advise, Play in as many tournys as you can and play and learn the pressure. Start working with a coach and practice 5 days a week. If you can get your game in order and start shooting around par and sub par rounds then you have a serious shot of doing something with it. You dont need to be the next tiger woods just to have a fun and successful career or make a little money playing golf. Continue to work at school and push the golf 100%. Start playing with the best players you can find and bust your ass. You never know what can happen, just work hard and start playing amature tournys. my 2 cents
  25. TaylorMade tour burner or Burner, TaylorMade R-7 are a few under the $300 mark. i would go to your local club or Goldsmith and demo a bunch and start wacking away and see what fits and feels the best. good luck
