  1. Main ball is NXT Tour... occasionally still game the Bridgestone E6+ when I'm not feeling to good with my shots.
  2. My first guess would be the golf course.
  3. Three. A starter Dunlop set... dunno what model or whatever... just the kind that comes in a $300 starter set from Walmart lol An hand-me-down set of Wilson Staff Fat Shafts that my uncle gave to me A set of Wilson Staff Di7s that I just bought last month.
  4. Di7s are about as forgiving as it gets. It's hard not to hit them straight.
  5. I'd have to recommend the same set I use, Wilson Staff Di7's, or the Di9s, which, from what I heard, are even better. They will add distance, which isn't very important and is only a side effect imo, but something about those sticks... it just seems harder to mis-hit.
  6. E. Stress Reliever Even though I get stressed on the golf course on the regular
  7. Yanks vs. Phils again... and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Yankees fan.
  8. I do for everything except for putting like a lot of people here... not for the feel or the grip, though, but simply because I get blisters out the wazoo when I don't wear one.
  9. I agree it's stupid on their part because they could make more money if they just sold the headcovers (seeing as people would definitely buy them). But honestly, since SC is a "premium" brand, they probably do it to protect their name. They probably don't want every Joe Schmoe putting a SC headcover on their no name putter.
  10. Well at least you signed up... I'm kicking myself for not doing it at all.
  11. I would never recommend a specific putter to anyone simply because a putter is such an individual thing. You can't know if it's right for you unless you've tried it. Now, you've already tried the method and it seems like you're not too crazy about it. If you're not, I wouldn't recommend getting it, because you probably never will feel great with it.
  12. If you don't have another club that can better fill the spot in your bag, there's nothing wrong with carrying both. It might be worthwhile to use the hybrid out of the rough and the iron on the fairway.
  13. I have 3... When I'm at school and want to get a quick range session or quick round before class, http://casperkillgolf.com/golf/proto/casperkillgolf/ When I'm home and want the best round in the area... http://www.beekmangolf.com/golf/proto/beekmangolf/ When I'm home and don't feel like driving or spending the money... http://fishkillgolf.com/
  14. I also use an interlocking grip. Tried the whole switching hands thing out a while back but couldn't get the hang of it. My feet are together, and my head is directly over the ball.
  15. I'm currently a culinary student (at the CIA) and work at a local restaurant. With school, work, or a combination of the two 7 days a week, with no spring break and basically half of a summer break, it makes finding time for golf difficult nowadays.
  16. I always use #4 balls (unless there are absolutely none left in my bag) and beyond that, I might put 4 dots under the logo.
  17. I've never played either, so I can't help you there, but if you are worried about the ball's playability before you buy it, I'd recommend getting a dozen from lostgolfballs.com. Just looked up both of those and you can get Srixon Tri-Speed balls in near mint playability (AAAA) for $8.95 a dozen, or DT Solos (AAAA) for the same price. I've gotten balls from them before and most of the AAAA balls have only been hit once or twice tops, but may have markings or corporate logos. Plus they have a coupon code for $5 off, "Five". Even with ground shipping being $9.21, you can get 3 dozen for #32.40
  18. Just upgraded my old, hand me down Wilson Staffs to WS Di7's. The big distance they get is just a side effect. Everything I hit with them goes straight and true, and I'm more worried about consistency than working the ball at this point. Also ordered 2 dozen NXT Tours from lostgolfballs.com. Should last me most of the summer.
  19. A birdie is a birdie. It's a Par 5 for a reason.
  20. Even better, I get AAAA NXT Tours from lostgolfballs.com All of them are in pretty much mint condition, condition wise. Only issue is that most of them have logos from corporate events or stuff like that... but for about $8 a dozen for balls that have only been hit once or twice tops, it's a great bargain.
  21. touche'...
  22. This isn't anything new... and it's not isolated in golf. Any sport, lefty equipment is more expensive and less common. Even baseball, where there are a lot of lefties. I'm just lucky enough to be ambidextrous lol... throw lefty, switch hitter in baseball, golf righty)
  23. I never use my driver. Well, almost never. I've made a promise to myself that I won't use a driver until I can hit it solid with every other club in my bag.
  24. I'm all for getting more women on the course. Gives me something nice to look at in between shots. :)
  25. Dunno about the E6, but I know the E6+ is one of the best balls I've ever played. I've switched to the NXT Tour, but I would have no problem whatsoever playing the E6+ again. It's almost impossible to hit those things off target.
