  1. Currently in the bag:
  2. I've read the FAQ's, tried to pull links from Flickr, but just can't seem to add pics to this site. When I try to do the attachment, it comes up as a blank screen. When I paste a link, it comes up with the red x. Anyone have any suggestions or experiencing the same?
  3. Adidas Adipure - Black Adidas Adipure - White Adidas Tour 360 Black/Grey - price was a steal Orange golf tees (they match the push cart) Scotty Cameron Grip Two shirts Ebay is my golf store and I visit often (maybe too often)
  4. Yoshi I went to a Rutgers game that you DJ'd for this year. Cincy maybe?? You had the place rocking with a great mix before the game. Great job!
  5. Sent you a PM. I've got a Cleveland Hibore 3 wood that can help you out. Check your messages and get back to me if interested.
  6. I found some on www.regripit.com . Gonna put it on one of my Scotty's and give it a go.
  7. I just got mine back. it took about 40 days total. They don't update the site immediately, so your putter will sit there for a few days before the site shows that it has been received. Just a heads up b/c it drove me crazy.
  8. The new Dymo makes a lot less noise. I was afraid it would be as loud as the old ones, but it's fairly quiet compared to the old SQ 5900 and my cleveland driver. The Cleveland driver will give you tinnitus in a confined driving range booth.
  9. Rockbottom has a nickent on sale for 50 bucks. I love the guy who is giving advice and wants to show you how it's done with your balls. Let me shank in peace.
  10. I don't mind the noise. I had a guy next to me at the range with his kids telling them to be quiet. I turned and said it's the driving range, make as much noise as you want kids. I just hate when people go to the range looking for absolute quiet like they are warming up for the PGA. If you don't want to hear anything, wear an ipod.
  11. I throw the arm up and duck. No looking around. Been hit once. My fault, quick story: I was ahead of my playing partner (my brother) and in the fairway. I'm looking for a club and hear "oh sh*t" look back and here it comes. Low burner, waist high and rising. Instincts put my hand up and it caught me in the meaty part of the right hand. It felt like I stuck my hand in lava. After laying on the ground reeling in pain for about twenty minutes, I got up and made par on the hole and finished the round. No broken bones or permanent damage. It could have been so much worse, but I got lucky. I learned, don't walk ahead of playing partners especially if it's family and your ahead on the scorecard.
  12. If I ever shot 63, I'd crap my pants and walk home bare a$$. Carrying my clubs of course
  13. Best of luck on the interview. And even if don't get to play as much as you expect, you could be stuck in an office all day. With people who don't play golf wondering why your practicing your golf swing while waiting for your food in the microwave.
  14. It was the 1st nice day since the snow had melted, so everyone had the fever. Now, things are back to normal.
  15. I found the VP nice for the alignment aids, but I liked the milled face because it gave me a more consistent roll. Demo with the ball you play with on the regular and you'll figure it out in no time. rockbottomgolf has the VP on sale for 60 bucks right now too. I still have a VP mallet thats on the wall with the rest of the putters I fiddle around with. Good luck.

  17. So it's finally starting to get nice in NJ and I wanted to hit the driving range the other day. Packed my bag in the truck, off we go. Range #1 Tara Greens - Closed. It's 60+ degrees outside and they claim it's too wet to hit range balls, OFF A MAT. So not opening for a few days. Sign out front reads "Open all year" Seriously? Range #2 Inman Avenue Driving range - Get to the range, it's packed. There's a line out the door. Get inside: "Sorry, we're out of balls" had a few shag bag balls, so I made a quick donation, but it didn't satisfy the golf fix. So.... Range #3 Hyatt Hills Clark - Get there, buy tokens, and there's a 30 minute wait just to get a booth. I've driven at least 30 miles, so I wait patiently and FINALLY get to hit 100+ balls. And fell in love with my new Nike SQ Dymo2 Driver, I purchased over the winter. So after a half a tank of gas and zipping all over central NJ, I finally quenched my golf thirst. The things we do for golf.
  18. Nice pics. Things are looking up in NJ. 62 degrees, dropped the driver off to be re-shafted, and hit 100 balls at the driving range on lunch. It's beginning to look a lot like golf season again. YES!
  19. Set looks nice. Buy more balls! You'll need them...J/K. Get out there and have some fun.
  20. Take a look at www.playgolfamerica.com . They may have events in your area as well.
  21. Find a golf course / driving range in the area that does introductions to golf. They're usually very cheap for women (why not for men?) I found one in NJ for 25 bucks for my wife last year. It will give your fiance a chance to be around women that have no idea how to play, with a patient instructor who knows how to teach a beginner. For roughly twenty bucks, its a great way to find out if she's willing to learn or has no interest in it at all. Good luck
  22. Thanks. Guess I have to go back to the book!
  23. I picked up the book and the dvd's about a week ago (70 Bucks). Halfway through the book, but I feel I learn better visually so I've focused more on disc#1 of the dvd's. After watching disc 1, the team went over something that I read in "Golf My Way" by Jack Nicklaus. The shoulder going down rather than around in the backswing. It really works for me. In the past I was doing it, but I don't believe I was getting my weight forward fast enough and therefore not reaping the benefit of what Jack was saying. But with the S&T;, they provided great explanation and now my weight is already forward so it eliminates alot of my mis-hits. The one thing that I'm having a problem with is the straightening of the back leg in the backswing. It's not happening. If anyone has any tips, I'd greatly appreciate them. But so far, I'm way ahead of last years progress. The S&T; formula is great. And to those not willing to give it a try, you're doing yourself a great disservice.
  24. Pre-record the Golf Fix. Yes it's an hour show, but it takes Michael Breed 30 min to stop bumbling and figure out what camera to look at. And please get rid of John Finestein. I can't figure out if he's wearing red lipstick or just finished eating cherry popsicles.
  25. It's really encouraging to read about your progress. I've recently adopted the S&T;, and the mechanics seem so much easier to me than the "conventional" golf swing. My right leg isn't straightening as much as prescribed in the videos, but I'm working on it. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to hit the range and apply what i've been practicing at home (and work).
