I've only tried it once but put it to a few feet.

That worked pretty well on The Big Break but I actually thought some of the other guys were fairly pathetic with their short game shots and made the "Saucer Pass" look a little more impressive than it should have looked. Any of us can make a video chipping in that shot (maybe even a higher percentage than he can).

On most of the courses around here it wouldn't come into play very often and those are easy as pie shots anyway. Most of the time if you tried to slide the club along the ground like that before impact you would either have a dozer blade full of grass, dirt, or mud on the club by the time it reached the ball or the grain on the (too long) grass would grab the leading edge and grind it to a halt before it even reached the ball.

Works really well on my living room rug though. If I ever hold a tournament in the living room I might even use it.

Well, Logman, I found an old video of you experimenting with fireworks. Skip to the 0:50 mark.

No wonder you went to expounding on the golf swing.

Looks like it is more of a scoop... not quite compressing down on the ball, more like just scooping through.

Even par through 9 is my best.  I don't even want to think about what was my worst.
