I'll be following Tiger and Phil along with 40k other fanatics on Friday! Score!
Golfing Saturday, and maybe Sun. We have Tee's for both days in San Diego, but may end up watching the final round on HiDef. Btw, if you haven't watched golf on H.D. you're seriously missing out, it's truly amazing..can see the subtle rolls on the greens, blades of grass, etc.

How do you plan on spending the Open?

Unfortunately I'll be flying back to Grand Island, Ne. to return for work the next day for the railroad. That part ain't fun. The good part is I'll fly back home for a scramble on the 21st in Nampa, Idaho. Don't know if this is the right way to do this. It's the first time on any forum. If I'm doing something wrong please let me know. Don't want to step on any toes!!!....

I'll be out there on Sunday with my two younger brothers-in-law. My father-in-law died on Saturday & the wife and I drove here from Louisiana for a Friday funeral. Wife and mother-in-law encouraged us to try and get out to the tournament. I was lucky to be able to score three Sunday tix from the local military MWR office. It will be a great Father's Day for the three of us. -LBB

I love the US Open - coverage doesn't start till 6pm, and it's June so the weather is great and I can get 18 holes in no problem at the weekend.

Tonight I'll get home at 9:30ish, just in time for Paddy's start. Might get a few beers and crisps.

Friday - playing at 4:30, so i'll watch it for an hour or so with my mates, then home for 10, to watch the end of the golf.

Saturday - playing at 12ish, home at 6ish - perfect. Watch all the coverage.

Sunday - not playing, might go for 9 at 4pm, then watch the rest.

My son is turning two on Sunday and his birthday party starts at the same time as the Final Round. Luckily, the party is at home. I plan on having all the TVs tuned to NBC so while I'm running around for three hours, I'll be able to catch some glimpses.

Playing Saturday so I'll DVR the coverage. On Sunday I plan on camping out in the living room with all 3 HD TV's on and doing absolutely as little as possible.

I work on Saturdays, but we have the big screen and HD at work, so I'll be just fine.

On Sunday, I'll play 18 in the morning and then get ready for the Primetime coverage later in the evening. I'm sure there will be some Father's Day (my first as a father by the way) stuff mixed in as well.

I love the U.S. Open, and it looks like this one is going to be an entertaining finish.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

I have REALLY enjoyed the first two days: taking care of our 5 mo old and watching NBC/ESPN coverage. Similar plans today, but BUMMED bout Sunday, as I will be performing in "Tales of Hoffmann" from 6pm on.

No DVR, so I will rely on Jim Nantz's Highlights due out on GC, and ESPN.

That's life as a musician: Lots of time off, but somehow a gig always comes up during the final round. . .

I typically go golfing all the time whenever I heavily watch a tournament but half of the holes being under water at my golf course isn't helping that cause.
