I was just cruising a Denver news site and came across this article.

http://cbs4denver.com/golf/golf.broo....2.756476.html

In my opinion, the course should have known this was going to happen when the junior tournament started late. I don't think the strippers should have been allowed on the course without proper course attire.

What does everyone else think?

Kids and strippers are two words that shouldn't be used in the same sentence (even though I just did).

In regard to proper course attire, I respectfully disagree MunkeyGolfer. Naked IS the proper attire for strippers

The last outing i went to had strippers.

I had to put my hand down one of their shorts to get my raffle ticket. Felt very dirty the entire day after that.

Wonder how she REALLY felt? sad. Probably would not support anyone that used this to promote a product or event.

Yep, I agree 100%- strippers and golf mixes perfectly! So the timing of the events were the problem, the golf course had to know what Shotgun Willies was up to and they should have known better than to have them come when those kids were still around.

Other than the poor timing, I'm all for it and want to sign up next year! Who's with me?

I had to chuckle at the thought of this. It just sounded like two good ideas that couldn't be mixed together. Bad timing by the course though.

Meh!

A lot of strippers, at least those I know, make a good living and aren't ashamed of what they do. In fact they are some pretty strong willed ladies who sure as hell wouldn't be doing it if they didn't want to.

I never said what I thought was "proper course attire" for them

. And I agree with everyone else. It was the timing. I am sure the course knew the strippers would be there. I mean come on, I don't live in Colorado but I do know what Shotgun Willies is

Add another course to the list of places where Marshalls are nowhere to be found.

Seriously, though, how hard is it to make a phone call? How hard is it to have a tent area set up, off the course, where the strippers could have waited?

Better yet, though, what kind of idiot schedules a kid's tourney with a strippers outing?

One of the local radio stations around here has a yearly golf outing that is much like this. As long as its an adults only kinda thing, I dont see a problem with it.
I do agree though that the event mentioned in that link was poorly timed.

However some of the golfers didn't get their 18 holes in (no pun intended) as the following article suggests that there were at least 2 complaints that Broomfield police responded to.

And though Eagle Trace cooperated with police, it sounds like it was not a good situation for the kids with the women straddling golfers in the clubhouse.

And what kind of charity accepts this money???? Strippers Anonymous?

Eagle Trace.....The strippers choice for golf in Colorado.
"How do you mark your balls?".......

Bad Judgement on Eagle Trace's part certainly, now will it hurt or help business.
