What is your 100 yard club? Or do you have different ones and play different shots with it?

Sometimes for the heck of it I'll hit an 8 or 9 iron from 100 yards... for better control...

my normal is a little three-quarter with the 54 degree sand wedge

I can hit my 60 degree sand wedge that far how ever...

thanks have fun..

I have my 53* mizuno gap bent to *52 and that's my 100 yd club. I hit it very rarely and always seem to have 130 (pw) or 85-90 (sw) left on most par 4s.

I use my 54* to get it 100 yds to about 80. Inside that, I use my 58*.

I either use the gap wedge, or knock down a pitching wedge.

There's a ton of clubs I could use...

3/4 Punch PW
80% 54˚
Smooth 50˚
Knockdown 8i
Knockdown 9i

All depends on the condition of my shot.

My 52 only goes 95 no matter what I do.
So I just purchased a 50.

PW/46*: 115
50: 100
52: 95
54: 90
56: 85
58: 80
60: 75
62: 70

If the course is familiar then I'll choose the wedges based on the yardages I expect to encounter.

One set up: PW/46 50 54 58
Or: PW/46 52 58
Or: PW/46 50 56
Or: PW/46 52 56 62

I'm a 9-i guy. I know... strange. I don't hit too long, and it is just comfortable for me. I take an easy swing and aim short to let it roll on.

obviously, that changes if there is an obstacle that I have to get over, then I go with my 56* wedge, since it is my next go-to club. I'm not perfect judging distances with it, so I just swing away and hope its close. Hence, I like my 9-iron since I'm more familiar with it and I have a decent idea of distances.

It's either an easy pitching wedge, or sand wedge...if I had a gap wedge, it'd be that. 100 yards is my right 'in between yardage' since I'm going through a swing change.

I hit my 52 degree 100 yards with a smooth swing. If I step on my 56 degree I can hit it also 100 yards.

I have some that I play different shots with, but for the most part I use a SW.

Usually a PW, but I think it needs a little more juice, I go with a 9 iron.

I pretty much always use my 56* SW but every once I a while I sky the green and I have hit my 60* from 100 out a couple of times.
