Hi, my name is Dan. Newest member of the 12 handicaps, I just barely slid in the back door as you can see. Probably didn't even notice me.

It's nice not to be a 'teen'ager but I feel like at any moment I could go back to the teens. I've heard good things about you 12's and have looked forward to joining you for a while now. Any advice is welcomed.

Most recently I was hanging out with the 13's and 14's....good guys, all of them. A little over a year ago I was visiting the 16's, that wasn't very fun. Nice guys and all but a little grumpy.

Please don't go to any trouble, I'll just sleep on the couch. If all goes well I'll just be passing through...

Whoa, whoa, wait a second. Not sure if I'm quite ready for that. I had a single over last weekend and the dude drank all my beer, completely trashed the place, made fun of my short game, and then started to put the moves on my wife. You guys are pretty slick if you ask me.

I'm going to get comfortable with the 12's, meet the 11's and 10's, and then sloooowly ease my way into the singles club. Might be a while though.

I was stuck in the 15's for the longest time. Pretty much all of last year, and at one point even went into the high 16's/low 17's briefly. Then at the end of the year I had a handful of breakthrough rounds where for some reason, I didn't make some of the mistakes that I ALWAYS MADE. When winter came around and the season ended I was a 14.0. This year it has just been slow, steady improvement.

I hope it can continue but I would imagine eventually I'm going to hit another wall like I did with the 15's, and maybe take a step back or two, then have to regroup and try to charge forward again. But man, it's getting harder and harder.

Congrats on your breakthru. I sometimes play like an 11....but I sometimes play like a 18 or worse. I thought this year would be my break out year but its been one thing or another. Good luck man and keep it falling.
