I SHOT MY AGE!!! (on 9 holes)

It just occured to me today that I shot my age, although it was on nine holes. The bad part is I did it for the first and only time over 4 months ago at the age of 36. I realize this is a sorta silly thread. But I have to wonder who out there was the youngest the first time they shot their age or under on 9 holes. I'm guessing the youngest will be high 20s. Anyone care to chime in? It's not something you really think about, but if you can remeber the first time you shot your age or lower on 9 please let us know.

Heck, it was probably this year! I shot 41, 42, 43, 44 and 45 and I am 46. I've shot 42 and higher before but I haven't played in 5 years before this summer.

I've done that a few times this past year for 9 holes. I'm 32. My best go being a 29.

I shot 34 this year, I'm 33. So I'll do it this year.

driver: FT-i tlcg 9.5˚ (Matrix Ozik XCONN Stiff)

Since I've been in my mid-30's and up I've basically had a couple 9 hole scores every year at or under my age (don't ask about the other 9 on those days.)

Back when I was 29, I actually shot two under my age. Of course it was an executive course with par 29, but still... Of course, that is the only time I have ever broken par for 9 holes (although I've had several rounds on regulation courses where I was at par or within a stroke of par for 9).

2 years ago, playing a course I play a lot and have my all time lowest scores (for regulation par 72 course), I was 4 under through 4 (birdie, eagle, par, birdie) and still managed to shoot over my age for the 9 at 39 (+7 for holes 5-9) .

In about 30 more years you will have a new bigger goal to beat!

I think I did it the first time when I was 39... That was a big deal for me, shortly after I shot 79 (and broke 80)... I still have that golf ball!!!

No idea. I've shot 32 on a side before, but have no idea how old I was at the time. Prob somewhere in the early to mid-30's.

BTW.....I do remember following that 32 up with a smooooooooth 41 on the back.
