Ive had Mizuno's, Adams, Callaway, and currently have Pings but my favorite irons ive ever had are Wilson Deep Red II's. I actually still pull them out of the attic every once in a while and play with them. They just seem so easy to hit.

The Wilson PI5s I'm playing now but I dare say a set of Mizunos could take their place in the future.

I love the AP2's i currently have. I never belived id like an iron set more than my old titliest 695cbs but the AP2's took the crown. When they wear out, ill probably just get another set.

My current irons are about 15 years old; do not remember what I had before then. Just had them regripped with oversize grips for my hand arthritis and I am now having to get used to the new grips. I think that it is not the club, it is the clubber....

Just entering my scorecard and I realized I made a mistake.

Wrote down a 3 on one of the par 3's... I know I missed the green by about 18", chipped on, and 2 putted, that should have been a 4. So I really shot a 89 to tie my best 18 hole score.

I really like the MP-30s I have now. I went from hand me downs to Nike Ignite to these in a space of about 6 months. I'm swinging better and more confidently now and am loving getting back into golf.

Irons: FP II 4-GW
Wedges: mp R series 56/13 588DSG 60*

Wilson Staff Forged Tour Blades, bought new in the early 70's? for around $100.00.

Sweet feel. I still have them in my garage.

the MacGregor 1025's I play with now are outstanding as well.

I'm down to a 10 handicap. At this rate, I'll get to scratch at 90 years old!

Mizuno MP-30s, too bad they were too much club for me at the time. As I work on improving my game I hope to have some MP-52s by the end of the year, start of next season...

I just pulled my Staff PW from the garage, cleaned it up and pitched with it in the yard. Damn it's a sweet stick. I might clean them all and play a round to see how they play as compared to my 1025's.

Speaking of Wilson big reds? I have a set of big red II woods - driver, 3, 5. I would sell all three for 200. Anyone interested? They all have the deep red color and the condition is almost perfect. No scratches at all on the painted surfaces - They still shine almost as good as new. Grips are new - but you might not like them, they are the soft rubber feeling grips - forget what they are called. They look good, though. Includes headcovers.

If interested, I can send pix. (I'm new to this board, so hope this doesn't violate any thing!)

If they're not the ones that you

That's exactly what I was thinking. Though, I have to admit that my old Nike forged Pro Combos are a close second to my current Mizunos. I'm even thinking about getting them reshafted as a backup set, which is not something I'd normally do (just ask my Titleist 735cbs that are now belong to someone else).
