I am truely the best at slices. I can slice the ball so hard with my driver and 3 wood i think i should get a reward. I played 29 holes sunday and i hit the fairway 3 times. Talk about bringing me to my knees i couldn't wait to get off that course.

My guess is that, like many high handicappers, you suffer from an extremely weak grip. That is, if you're a righty golfer, the thumb on your left hand resides on the left side of your grip. You have to turn that bad boy so it is coming from the right side and your hand is bent like you're turning the throttle on a motorcycle. Also, make sure your grip pressure is in your fingers rather than in the palms of your hands. The last 3 fingers of your left hand and the middle two of your right should be your pressure points.

My Tools of Ignorance:

Irons: Cobra AMP 4-GW

Wedges: Callaway Forged Copper 56* and 60*

Putters: Scotty Cameron  35" (Several of the flow neck blade variety)

Ball: Bridgestone B330-RX and Srixon Z-Star

Bag: Nike Performance Carry

3/14 is still 20% which isn't too horrible. At least your misses are consistently right which allows you to aim left and have it come back toward the fairway. I have my misses left and right and can't eliminate one side. Pull hooks and push slices are far worse than just normal slices.

You are going to be a great at what every you try because you already have the positive attitude, just look at the name of your tread.

use the slice to your advantage.

1) tee the ball on the right side of the tee box and aim left and for a quick fix close your club face until you can somewhat control your slice and it become a fade.
2) check your grip
3) swing path
4) try to hit draws
5) close the club face at impact
6) keep you head behind the ball
7) have fun
