So i know some people have to wear sunglasses when they play and some cant so for those who do wear them, check this out. It's a site called http://oksunglases.com they claim to sell Oakley sunglasses but for some reason every pair(152) on the site are all priced at $46.98. So i was a little suspicious and e-mailed the site asking if the glasses were real and how they were able to sell them so low. I got a reply from china saying that they are indeed real and they sell them so cheep because they are "cleaning the stock" he also insists that the lenses are polarized and the come with the case, and cleaning material. Believe it or not, i think this site may actually advertise on this forum but i could be mistaken. Anyway, if anyone has bought a pair of sunglasses from this site before let me know if they are any good, and if you haven't let me know if you think they are real. Personally i think they are just as good of a deal as the $212 iron sets from the chinese golf sites haha

Oakley's are sweet, I wish I could afford a pair. Even at 45 bucks, it's too much for me. I'm broke, ahaha.

But, I bought 20 dollar Sunglasses from this one store. They have the UV ray protection or whatever, and they are good for the price I paid. I don't hit with them on, but put them on top my hat and while waiting for walking to my next shot I'll wear them.

I don't know how people look through them, or underneath them while playing...I find myself doing both!!!

Caveat Emptor

Looks highly suspicious if you ask me.

No phone number?
Site online for no more than a few weeks?
No products information (all are listed as "New Oakley Sunglasses")?

It looks like they set their products stock for each item at 1000, indicating an unlimited supply. It seems unlikely that they are "cleaning the stock" using such a method.

Yeah, If you're okay with having a pair of decent looking fakes, then go for it! No one really cares if you're wearing the real thing. If you're "only" paying $45 for a pair of polarized sunglasses that have a design you like then go for it. Just don't plan on getting them authenticated :)

If you're looking for a great pair of sunglasses, I can't reccommend Native Sunglasses enough ( http://www.nativeyewear.com )! They are absolutely incredible. Only glasses I've ever found that I can wear while swinging...and I've taken advantage of the lifetime warranty as well. Great company.

I highly doubt these are legitimate. There are better ways.

You can typically get good sunglasses very cheap in the states. The golf shop near me typically has a rack of cheap sunglasses - $2 or $5 - when they have tent sales. I stock up so I have 4 or 5 pairs, and put one in the car, another in the golf bag, one at the office, and so on, so I have sunglasses ready. When one pair breaks, I make a mental note to get more at the next sale.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

Checked out the native site (cool sunglasses). I've only bought sunglasses more than $20 one time (long history of accidentally sitting on them or getting them lost at the bottom of a lake. I can't wear them when playing golf, but have to when fishing.

I've noticed several tour pros wear them on the back of their heads the whole round, never putting them on their eyes. Must be a sponsorship thing?

Those are some insanely fake oakleys. Many of those aren't even actual oakley models. Another dead giveaway is the "oakley" sticker on the lenses, real oakleys don't have this sticker but all of the fakes do. In general the website reeks of fakeness and for $50 I would at least want a good looking fake.

As someone who has bought many Oakleys, I am very familiar with their pricing and ditribution. There is no way a legitimate Oakley dealer (Domestic or International) can sell authentic Oakleys for that price, they will lose their account. Oakley only discounts through their authorized outlet... Vendors cannot even sell damaged Oakleys for reduced prices.

Plus, China??? Come on.

I know this is a little off topic, but my eyesight is not great so I wear prescription sunglasses when I play. They are polarized and I have found that I can see the ball MUCH better during the day in all conditions because of the polarization. If you can get some legit polarized glasses they are a huge benefit!

If anyone is looking to splurge on sunglasses... Maui Jims are amazing. I prefer playing with them on, even if it is questionable if they are needed, just because of how clear they make everything.

Unless it's raining I can't play without sunglasses, just PP. I actually just bought my 2nd set of Oakleys online before the weekend and came across this site. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw it. If you want glasses with the Oakley name on them you can't beat the price.

You must be pretty niave to think for a moment that this site is legit? Just by looking at the website it's pretty obvious that these are Foakleys (Fake Oakleys).

Do yourself a favour and do the golf industry a favour by not buying fake crap.

I wear Oakleys and I've had fake ones in the past. Knew they were fake, bought them to play sand volleyball in (I'm tough on shades in the sand). I don't mind fakes but they should tell you they are fakes. Also, the fakes I bought were $14.

I don't wear them while playing (they mess with my depth perception). Recently I took my 7 year old out for her first round. Had my Oakleys on top of my hat. Had fun with my daughter, but it was an expensive round, as the glasses fell off my hat sometime during the round.
