I'm not seeing NEW speedlines under 130 unless they're the first speedline model.

My opinion, in this order:

1a. Burner 07
1b. Speedline
3. Cleveland Launcher & HiBore
4. SQ Dymo2

But fairway woods are kinda like putters to me: very much personal preference. You gotta go hit them to find out what you like best.

What's in my Sun Mountain C-130 bag:

Driver - Taylormade Superfast 2.0 TP 10.5
3 Wood - Taylormade Burner 15* REAX
Hybrid - Adams Idea Pro 18* GD YSQ-HL

Irons - Callaway X-18 4-PW

GW - Cleveland 588 51*

SW - Cleveland CG 12 56*

LW - Cleveland CG15 60*

Putter - Cameron Studio Style Newport 2

Just curious, why would you recommend to match your 3W to your driver? Unless you have some obligation to a certain manufacturer, why not get the driver you hit the best, and then a 3W that you hit the best, even if they are from different companies???

Burner or the hibore xls are both very good choices. I was between those when getting my driver and 3 wood, ending up liking the hibore xls driver a bit more and the 3 wood I matched it is my favorite club in my bag. But seeing that you already have burner driver it wouldnt be a bad thing to have a matching three wood, gives you some consistency. But having different clubs isnt a bad thing either as long as it works for you and its what you favor.

In my 's bag:
Driver: HiBore XLS 10.5, Fujikara Red R Flex shaft, and Winn PCI grip
3w, 5w: HiBore XLS Fujikara Gold R Flexshaft, and Winn PCI grips
Irons: Viper HT heads, True Temper XL Lite shafts, and Winn PCI grips
Putter: XG #9 35"Ball: TP II

If you don't mind playing something a cpl years old check out the 906F's or 904F from Titleist, best fairway woods IMO.

No need to match brand for driver and wood....more important to check what works best for you. For <$130, there are plenty of options with used.

Check out Callaway Pre-Owned on the internet... you can find many warbirds and steelheads with several shaft choices. These 3 woods are still favorites in many bags, and some of the newer designs sure look to me like these venerable designs. Highly recommended.

Can anyone recommend me a good 3 wood? The ones I've been looking at include:

The 07 Burner is a great performer in many way. It's one of those clubs that can allow many players to eliminate the right side. Draws can be automatic with smooth swings due to the closed face and light shaft. It's an easy club to launch. I love the differences that exhist between my 2 fairway woods. The 07 Burner eats up distance from the fairway and light rough bu accuracy is a bit harder to dial in...especially when I go after it a bit harder. The 18.5 F2, however hits a pedictable high fade that stops fairly easily on most greens. I like having the two different styles.

I have an 07 Burner 3 wood and it is my favorite club. It does everything I ask of it whether it is hitting a ball in the fairway on a short par 4 to getting me close to a green on a par 5. It is very easy to launch high and straight. I would highly recommend it,

It is likely that if you hit your driver well you may very well hit a Fwy wood well also. I agree though, buy what fits you best.
