Anyone playing CB1 or CB2 irons from Adams? Need some feedback on these. Mainly interested in the CB2's since they come with the KBS Tour shafts. Major downside is that you can't get a set in 3-PW. Guess they are trying to push their hybrids over the 3 iron.

I've only tested theses irons at Golf Galaxy and they are D3 in swing weight but don't feel as heavy as Bridgestone irons. Maybe this is because they had KBS shafts over the TT shafts.

I'm not playing them, but I'm going to demo them next month before finalizing my next purchase. Hitting the CB2 and an MX-series Mizuno a few months ago at a demo day, both with KBS shafts, put that label on the map for me. I'm seriously considering KBS or KBS-90 for my next iron set.

Don't get them just for the shafts, though -- I'm pretty sure you can get KBS shafts put into just about any iron order. One of the guys at the golf shop nearby told me that a customer ordered AP2s with A-flex graphite in them not too long ago. I'd be surprised if every major OEM didn't have KBS as an option.

Not getting them just for the shaft. I was referring to the fact that CB2's come in KBS and CB1's come in PX shafts. That is the reason why I am leaning more towards the CB2's over the CB1's. I hit both of them very similar in distance, just that the CB2 goes a bit higher.

Good point: the stock shaft being a better one is a good tie breaker.

I play the CB2's! They're freakin amazing!! The feeling of a forged iron, but with a softer more forgiving feel mixed in. I went thru 4 different iron sets before I landed these and I absolutely love them!! Way better than the R9 TP's I had last! Ive never, not even once, regretted my decision to put these in the bag. I won about 6 tournaments last year with them also.

Adams irons as a whole have made a huge jump in the last couple years. They're a much more complete set now than they used to be.

In my Ogio bag.

Titleist 910D2 driver, Adams irons & hybrid, Callaway wedges & a Nike Method putter.

And a yellow ball.

I have the CB1s and I love them. I have a 3-GW setup with the PX 6.0s and they are amazing irons. I love the shape and small blade like size. They are very easy to hit, very soft, very forgiving. They'll be in my bag for some time.

DG S300 has a lower flight than the KBS Tour.
