Another UFC event has come, and this one doesn't really look like it will live up to fight card expectations. This event will take place in London @ the O2 Arena! The complete fight card will air on SpikeTV on the 16th, but with the fights being in London, it will not be a live feed. The pre-recorded fights mean that if you look on major MMA sites, you will get to see the results before even watching the fights! Kind of a buzz kill...

With the card being mediocre, at best, it is a good thing it will be free!

Here is what the fight card look like:

Main Card
Middleweight bout: Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Michael Bisping
Welterweight bout: Carlos Condit vs. Dan Hardy
Welterweight bout: John Hathaway vs. Mike Pyle
Heavyweight bout: Travis Browne vs. Cheick Kongo
Welterweight bout: Claude Patrick vs. James Wilks

Preliminary Card
Light-heavyweight bout: Cyrille Diabate vs. Alexander Gustafsson
Heavyweight bout: Rob Broughton vs. Vinicius Kappke de Quieroz
Light-heavyweight bout: Steve Cantwell vs. Stanislav Nedkov
Lightweight bout: Mark Holst vs. Paul Sass
Lightweight bout: Spencer Fisher vs. Kurt Warburton
Light-heavyweight bout: Fabio Maldonado vs. James McSweeney

I was most excited to see the Hardy v Condit fight. I was disappointed to see Hardy get knocked out. Two clean lefts at the same time. Condit's was harder.

Condit's was harder, shorter and better placed. Hardy needs to talk less and win more. Bisbing looked better than he has in a while, but his future is questionable given he has a weak jaw and doesn't have knockout power.

Yeah, Condit's left was much more technically sound. Hardy has much more power than Condit. I thought Hardy responded well to the loss. I mean come on, he has lost to GSP (the champ) and Condit. It's not like he has lost 5 in a row. I like Hardy. And I don't know many fighters at all that don't "talk" alot nowadays.

Bisping looked better but he is still not that good. I can't believe after 3 fights he still hasn't fixed his defense for the right hand. He is lucky that Akiyama wasn't the figher of old or that would have been another loss for Bisping. I don't know what's going on with Akiyama. And what about Kongo? Man did Browne get screwed!!! There is absolutely no way that was a draw. And now I really think that Kongo is a very dirty fighter. All in all, it was one of the worst night of picks I have ever had. I didn't see hardly any of those fights going the way they did....except for Condit. I like Condit, but ironically enough, I thought Hardy would beat him to the punch.

Hardy handled himself well after the loss. I'm fine with guys promoting their fights and talking trash, but it should be within the limits of the arts they represent. I don't like hearing Hardy, Kos, and Sonning take the trash talk over the top, it reduces MMA to boxing, which today is only a hype machine.

Kongo has been fighting dirty for last few years. He uses it to buy himself time when he's gassed. Bisbing can't fight anyone with power at this point without fear of a KO. His defense is suspect, and his chin is close to glass. He needs to develop more of a ground game to counter his weak chin if he's going to contend for a title. I thought Condit would win, he has decent stand up and could take the fight to the ground if he needed to. There's always the chance Hardy will KO someone, but he like most of the UK guys needs to develop more than his standup if he's going beat the top contenders.

I agree with everything. The UK guys are for sure lacking in wrestling and TDD. At least some of them have descent BJJ now.
