The Fall Series has been awesome this year.

The Fall Series is always surprisingly good. It just gets zero press. But when you watch all of those guys scrap out a top 10 to keep their cards, it's a tiny bit more relate-able than watching Tiger and Phil pad their banks accounts.

Don't get me wrong. I love that these guys are all playing for their cards and what not. But you gotta be kidding me. Rocco holes out 4 times from 100+ yards, one of which was on the 71st hole and he wins the tourney by 1 shot. This week it's a walk off hole in one on the fourth playoff hole. The Fall Series wasn't close to this cool last year or the year before. I'm fairly new to this game though, so this is only my 3rd year watching golf. But you get what I'm saying.

Too bad only like five of us were watching. Incredible stuff. Jonathan Byrd looked like he was in shock.

Darn it. My DVR stopped recording at the scheduled time. Byrd's got a really nice swing. I recorded up to where he drove it on the cart path on the first playoff hole. Will have to check for a golf channel replay of the whole playoff.

It was much darker than the broadcast was showing too. He couldn't even see it go in. I liked the fact that the other two players jumped up and gave him high fives even though the lost. Very classy on their part.

Couldn't agree more. It's great to watch. Poor old Cameron Percy misses out on his card and 2 year exemption (and the prizemoney and Hawaii) by one shot, but I think is just in the top 150, which gives him some status.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

      I’m not sure I agree. It’s just what the majority find more entertaining. Most people prefer women’s gymnastics over men in the Olympics. How much hype is there with the men’s compared to the women’s? I bet you can rattle off several big names in women’s gymnastics and only a handful of men. Women’s tennis …same thing. And sure enough, their purses are the same. However, WNBA, awful…LPGA, not near as much interest than PGA. Don’t think it’s really that complicated IMO.

      If you walk up to a food/drink kiosk at Magic Kingdom and ask the person for a cup of "magic water" they will give you a small cup of Sprite for free. About 3 fingers worth. They don't sell alcohol at MK anymore so I go over to one of the courses while she hangs out there.
