Are hybrids able to be fitted for lie?

For  my irons I was fitted 4 degrees up and I am wondering if hybrids can be fitted for lie and if it is necessary?

The Ping K15 / G20 series of hybrids can be altered for lie angle, along with the Titleist 910h range.

When you say altered you mean bent?  How about adams

No idea about Adams (never seen them in the UK), but the Titleist website explains how the SureFit hosel system works to alter lie angle.

I belie Ping bend their hybrids to get the required lie angle.

Almost all clubs (including driver and woods) can be bent in the right persons hands, a lot of places wont do it however becuase the odds of breaking the club are much increased.

Your best bet would be to buy a hybrid from a OEM who offers the service themselves as they would probably cover any damage.

Bobby Jones Workshop has an elongated hosel that is meant to be bent (by a professional) and fitted to the golfer. Now available for $79... a deal.

Wishon makes both a hybrid and fairway wood with a soft SS hosel that is designed to be easily and safely bent up to +/- 4 degrees. I have the 3 and 4 hybrid in the range and find them at least the equal of the Adams A7s I had before in terms of general playability.

I have a 2 degrees flat hybrid from Ping.  If you want a hybrid from Ping with an adjusted lie, the club has to be ordered.  It's the head that is different, not simply an adjusted hossel.  How you can tell is, the degree symbol on the club is a different color.  For example standard lie the degree symbol (*) is black, 2* flat, the (*) is purple.

I just got a Wishon 775 18degree a few weeks ago, and that thing is awesome.  Very solid.  My first shot with it was from 237 and put it four feet away.  It was the first eagle I have had on that particular par 5 in a long time.  I have also loved hitting it off of the tee and out of the rough.  I don't think my shop changed the lie to what I need, so I am glad I looked at this thread.
