I found tons of fake clubs on alibaba. They look really good, considering they are directly from china. Just wondering if anyone has tried any of these, and has any feedback on them. You can find almost any club, and can even pick the shaft. They look completely identical to the real ones. I just have no clue how they perform. Here's some of them

One of the golf magazines had an equipment section recently, and included a one-page bloc on performance of counterfeit clubs. (Thought I had it bookmarked, but I don't....)

One factor: counterfeits tend to launch the ball low and right because the head materials are heavier. Other problems too.

Focus, connect and follow through!

I would stay away from the counterfit clubs. If you are short on cash and want some nice clubs, why not try clones? Gigagolf.com,Monarkgolf.com or one of the others. The clones tend to have much better quality, and in many cases are made in the same foundries as the real stuff.

They're blocked because they're a spammer or counterfeiter. There's your answer.

Why on earth would someone want to buy a fake club????  Why not just buy a real used club, or a less expensive brand of a real club?

I know first hand how fake clubs perform. They will break, they are made with poor workmanship, and materials. That's why they are so cheap to buy.

I bought a fake 910 driver on ebay, didn't know it was fake, until the face cracked all over, after 3 rounds.

Id agree with why support the counterfeit industry?  If you cant afford new real stuff, buy older real stuff or buy clones.

Absolutely no reason to by fakes, EVER... they steal ideas and money away from the companies doing the real work who in turn have to raise their prices to cover the losses. Anybody who purposely buys counterfeit goods is a tool.

Not defending fakes but doesn't a certain famous putter maker steal ideas? Just saying

Just saying that's probably what he's getting at.  If it helps Ping has stolen the ideas right back from SC by offering the pilfered models in a high quality milled materials.

Not defending counterfeit clubs in the least, but that can happen to the genuine article. I've seen it many times.
