Yeah but he had 2 putters and no wedges apparently? And 10 irons, not counting hybrids and no sand or lob wedge in the set. How the hell? Even with 3-GW, there's no 2 iron in the set. AND it would mean he has 3 hybrids on top of his long irons. Pretty redundant and most likely his practice bag or something.

Honestly based on what I hear about his game, I'd let him use all the clubs he wanted in a money game. But he doesn't get to pair with Biden.

But not everyone keeps a score or a handicap. From what I know, the President typically doesn't even get in 18 holes.

Hey, I experiment with clubs a lot, bring an extra wedge or hybrid, and will use certain ones depending on conditions. I'll decide on the range which 14 with which I'm playing.

If you want to compare, Clinton was known to take many mulligan per round.

And Romney doesn't even play. Hmmmm. He's a water sports guy. 0 clubs.

I understand he wants to fundamentally change the game of golf. In order to maintain fairness, low handicappers will have their maximum number of clubs reduced to 11, since that's all they "need" anyways, and their excess will then be redistributed to allow high handicappers to carry 17. ;-)

Who here owns more than 14 clubs? Who here keeps more in the bag - or trunk - and adjusts the set based on the course, etc? Like a 4th wedge or a hybrid or whatever.

Who sometimes just keeps them in their bag, with selected clubs taken out before playing?

Notice Obama's bag is sitting on the lawn where he lives, not on the golf course. Last I checked there's nothing illegal with >14 clubs when you're not playing.

No, he has 17 clubs; the yacht club, polo club, equestrian club...

I think he calls that "redistribution" of golf clubs.. It's a socialist thing to do..  I wonder since Tiger is one of the top 1%er's if he has to give up extra strokes too..

He probably also needs to make sure to give up some of that talent. Can't have some people performing better than others.

But to ensure our good morals, Mitt The GoP would require every golfer to post all scores, and of course, there would be the golf police to enforce our good morals.

(actually, it's not a Mitt thing - as a free market capitalist, I don't think he cares. It's the Ryan and Cantor part of that Party that wants to guide our morals about which we should have serious doubts)
