Although I will be leaving in June to move to Colorado I thought we could maybe set up a group or 2 and do a little sand trap get together. (Yes, I'm jealous of the SoCal guys) anyone in the area post here and maybe we can figure something out when the season starts.

Sorry if its on your page, can't see it on the mobile version. So not too far. Have you played in Schaumburg/ Hoffman estates before?

Schaumburg Golf Course is pretty much my home course. I used to work in Schaumburg and player there 3-4x a week. Got a new job and a baby and I'm lucky to play 18 once a week...practice more than play these days.

Played it a handful of times and really enjoyed it. I've seen a few people on here from the area so hopefully they see this and chime in

I would be interested.  I'm in Cedar Lake, Indiana.  No big deal for me to travel.

i am interested, but far worse than everybody else who has posted on this page.  If you can handle that, I am in.  Never played Schaumburg golf course, but have played bridges of poplar creek a few times, tight short course, was in good shape this year.  Also enjoy Highland woods ALOT because you can play on friday afternoons for under $30 and it is pretty damn open and easy.

and I live in Westchester.

So we're all gonna get together for a round, become golf buddies, and then you're just gonna leave us in June?? :)

I'm out in Evanston. Haven't played Schaumburg, but have played Poplar and a couple other courses out in that area. Hit me up when we're out of single digit weather :).

I'm in crystal lake. Schaumburg gc is definitely doable for me. Good track.

I'm in Evanston and also not as good as others who have posted but if it works out I'd love to get a round in with some fellow TST'ers.

Golf buddies is buddies for life! Schaumburg doesn't have to be where we play, was just seeing if people have played it. I've played poplar probably 20 times and its a good track I spend a lot of time practicing there. I'm down to play wherever. If we get enough people we can pick a spot that is convenient and reasonably priced. Hopefully mid march

That is not a problem at all. I don't have an official handicap I just track my rounds on yahoo. I think I finished the year around a 12. Been down to a 9 but up to a 19. It really depends and I can play above or below that on any given day. I'm sure I can say this for everybody, all skill levels are welcome

Sorry for multiple posts, but can't figure how to do multiple quotes on my phone. I grew up in Johnsburg IL so I am familiar to the crystal lake area. Was recently out at a bar called Dukes not too long ago in CL

Gosh, weird to see so many people from my hometown of Evanston haha! Too bad I'm still out in Bellingham WA for a while, but I'd suggest Thunderhawk and George Dunne as 2 great courses that are both around $50 during summer.  Wish I could join you guys!
