Reduce driver backspin

I was measured by Bridgestone at their ball fitting and these were the results:

Clubhead speed 98.0 MPH

Ball Speed 133.8

Launch Angle 12.2

Backspin 3,197 RPM

Any thoughts on how I can possibly reduce my backspin rpm"s.

Also I have a slight over the top move on the downswing.

you need to hit up on the ball more. someone told me, I'm not that great at it, that if you make like a reverse "k" with your body its helps hit up on it. so have a straight line from your left (if you're right handed) ankle to your left shoulder. youtube might have a video on this

Your SF of only 1.36 is kind of low.

Here is a great video to show the difference in AoA of the driver. He does not explicitly relate this to higher spin, but it makes some sense that it does. Note that he is using flight limited balls.

Yep your contact is pretty bad for a driver there. Smash Factor should be 1.45 or more for very solid contact.

Agreed, hit up on the ball. That helps reduce spin and optimize launch conditions

3,197 is not to bad, though probably high for your club head speed.

Although, as Matt said, spin is not the major problem. Hitting up will reduce spin and improve launch angle because....

Launch angle seems low, too, for that swing speed. Hitting up will help optimize.
