Shafts question

First some background.

At the end of 2012 I played a few rounds of golf with a starter set I bought in 2006 and got really into it.

In 2013 I decided to upgrade the driver and went to Golf Galaxy and really liked the way I hit the TaylorMade R11S driver.  The driver has a 10.5* loft.  The salesperson didn't fit me for a shaft except that he said based on my swing speed I should get a stiff shaft.  So, I ended up getting the Aldila RIP Phenom which weighs 60g and has a length of 44.5"..

I soon thereafter found out that TM also made a 3 and 5 wood R11s and bought them.  The 3 wood has a loft of 15.5*, weighs 70g with a length of 42.75" and the 5 wood has a loft of 19, weighs 70g with a length of 42".  Both shafts are Aldila RIP Phenoms with regular flex.

At the time I bought these woods I didn't know much about shafts and how they impact a persons game, and to be fair, I still don't have that great a grasp of it.

So, I'm wondering if those are standard lengths in shaft seeing as how there's a difference b/w the driver and 3 wood length of 1.75" and a difference b/w the 3 wood and 5 wood of 0.75".  I also was curious if it's not abnormal to have the driver shaft weight 10g less than a 3 and 5 wood and if it's typical for a 3 wood and 5 wood shaft to weigh the same.

At the end of last year I was shooting b/w 105-115 and I'm currently trying to develop a consistent swing.  I'm wondering if I need to change the shafts at all and, if so, should I weather the storm until I feel comfortable with the new swing I'm working on or should I make the change sooner rather than later.

As for shaft weights, here's the details. Often a shaft model will make one version for the driver, and a related version for the FWs. And, the listed weight you're talking about normally is for the uncut shaft. (most shafts get tip trimmed, and then butt-trimmed for final length).

The driver shaft is the longest in the set (usually), so it can be somewhat lighter. The longer shaft length gives the driver heavier swingweight than the matching FWs. The FW shafts are shorter, so slightly more shaft weight will help give them a similar "feel."

If you weigh the trimmed shafts, the FWs will weight closer to the driver shaft because they have more length trimmed off. Within the FWs, the 5W shaft will weight slightly less than the 3W shaft, because it has been trimmed shorter (3.4" shorter). But, a few grams less is not something the golfer can feel between the 3W and 5W.
