The list ranges from Rickie Fowler for his fashion and social media presence, to the founders of TopGolf, to Mark Sweeney (founder of Aimpoint) and even Gary Dell'Abate.

What do ya'll think?

One big omission, IMO, is Erik and Dave (and Mike and Stephan and Brian) being left off the list. From golf instruction software to online lessons to 5SK and Lowest Score Wins ... that's a lot of innovation right there!

Cool list an and cool article--thanks for posting. Seems like the TM guys are doing more for club tech than anyone else. Additionally I'd argue that some of the clothing designers (Trav Mathew for designs and Under Armour for innovative fabrics) are doing more for the look of golf than Fowler.

Agree 1000%

Dave and Erik will be recognized for their contributions to the game eventually, just might take a while because they aren't self-promoters. As we saw from the putting thread/Brandel Chamblee comments, the information is too good not to be noticed.

lol, Yes, at least with the one that lives in California, only good thing he did was start a grip thread.

Yeah, but that thread alone is worth the award. Can't think of one other simple piece of advice that makes such a positive impact - for me, anyway. B-)

Thanks, just passing along information that I've learned from great instructors.

Mvmac, don't sell yourself short. You've made a great contribution with the grip thread. You went so far as to add in info for a left-handed golfer as well. It's helped me immensely and I'm trying to continue to use those tips I learned from you in the thread to keep my shots going straight. Overall, they're working well for me and the ball goes straight when I do my part and concentrate. When I don't pay attention is when I'm chasing my ball into the woods.

Awesome site with the tips here. And it's FREE!

Chris

I don't play golf, I play at golf. There's a difference.
