What do you think of Ryan Moore's chances at this year's Open? He had a hellava run at the Masters... T13 I think. Not bad. He'll be playing as an amateur this weekend... his last tournament as an amateur. I now make the outlandish prediction that he'll be in the top 15 again.

I'm not seeing a good U.S. Open for Moore. I think he may make the cut, but I think he might finish around 50th or so. I just think the short game will test his nerves to the limit and rattle him a bit.

I am actually doing a Thrash Talk related to this sometime pretty soon.. Glad you mentioned the youngster's name.

He does do well in USGA events... He's even today through three and shot 75 in the first round, but a 68 today puts him right back in the thick of things, it looks like. Nobody's really moving below -3.
